Commercial Description:
Steinlager® is a lager with a distinctive grassy note and clean crisp bitterness of green bullet hops. It is balanced with a dry, astringent finish.

The taste is clean with some sweet malt and light bitter hops. The beer has an astringent taste which I am not super fond of. Decent lager aroma with grassy hops and the beer has a foamy three finger head. Certainly not that unique but it does have hints of vinegar and lemon grass.

April, 2003:The usual global industrial lager. Breweries all over the world do their own version on a Pilsener, sadly most - like this one - use cheap ingredients and take shortcuts in the brewing process in order to make the most profit out of an undemanding consumer base. This quenches the thirst and will - if that’s what you want - get you drunk if you drink enough of it - but a quality drink (despite the absurd claims on the label) it is not. [1.5]
Dec, 2004: Clean enough standard lager. Soft scratchy carbonation. Thin malt. Grassy, herbal hop kiss. [1.8]
September 2007 Skunk hops in an average lager stylie. [2.0]

(25.4oz.) bottle: Danky nose from a green bottle. Fizz head that looks like dish wash soap. Somewhat metallic, and the corn flavor reminds me of Crispix cereal. Even though, I’ve bought many 12packs of this stuff I plan on leaving it on the shelves from now on.

Not bad... bottle poured golden yellow with no head. Aroma was just a bit skunky to me with a sweet flavor grassy and a taste that stayed on the palate. Not bad but so so.

Golden lager appearance. Sweet grainyness, light honey, floral, grassy hoppiness in the aroma. Flavour is slightly sweet, with lightly floral, dry, hoppy, bitterness.

Mild hoppy aroma leads to a mild hop flavour leads to a mild bitter tinge in this pale golden easy drinking offering. Had it with some Thai food so that might have increased the enjoyment a touch.

Suprisingly okay. Good flavor, very drinkable. Had a nice hoppy flavor, and crisp taste. Seems like it would be a great football beer.
