Armoa was a little wheaty, with some skunky hops. The palate is plain, and the bitterness is fairly well balanced, pehaps the hops are a little harsh. Not too bad overall, but nothing spectacular.

This bottle was skunked all to heck and gone and while there might be some redeeming qualities buried pretty deep, this was what it was, and what it was was a skunked pale lager. Yep, pour of gold with a medium sized white head--standard lager. Sweetish, grassy, slight hint of hops and light malts in the nose....nothing unexpected. Equally grainy and grassy in the taste with more of a light hop bite in the finish. Thin and light in the mouth....lightly bitter hops in the end. Not bad or skunky...just ok. coldbrewky (742), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Updated: Jun 16, 20086 pack of bottles at the grocery store. Pours a pale golden and is surpisingly a medium + body that is quite malty. some skunkiness as the top is popped. A fine dirt moving and lawnmower beer. (Sci-ma-tifi-cally proven). Astringent finish??? Maybe for the kiwis but rather rounded IMHO. A pretty wihite head dissipates fast but leaves a fine ephemeral lacing on the sides of mug. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 16, 2009 Pours a very pale gold with a 1 finger creamy white head (poured pretty violently to get this) that has o.k. retention. Aroma is grass, straw, animal feed, and some toasted sweet grain. Flavor is sweet and grainy, grassy hops feel a bit forcefull for the light and sweet straw like malt notes. Slightly bitter grass and herbal notes to the finish, not too great, better than most of the style I guess but I will not be likely buy it again. madquacker (732), Canberra ACT, Australia
