I tried this beer on Fenruary 26, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario. The been poured a translucent gold with a thin white head that didn’t last long. The aroma was very grainy/grassy with some malty hints. The mouthfeel was clean, crisp, medium bodied, and medium to high carbonation. The flavour was overwhelmingly grainy with some hoppy hints at the finish. Not a great tasting lager, but it goes down very well.

Mar 10, 2007 This the first full beer that I ever tried. Haven’t had one since Jan. of ’91. Your typical plae lager that doesn’t tatse very good. Bit of nostalgia though.

Oct 22, 2002 Its neat that they use New Zealand hops,but they just dont stand out.Slightly better than average lager.

Sep 19, 2007 Pours a pale yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma of skunk, and grass.
A weak hoppy flavour with a sour finish. Watery and uninteresting.

May 12, 2005 Pours pale golden with good white head. I recently had this one on tap and it didn’t have the awful skunky aroma as does the bottled version. Grassy aroma and flavor. Nice hop bitterness in the finish. Clean, crisp, and a shame more raters don’t have it on draft.

Jan 14, 2002 Not too bad at all. Goes down smooth. Surprisingly did not taste too skunky, as I expected with the green bottle. Nice fizz and refreshing almost too-yeasty taste.
