tastes great ice cold right outta da store on the way home...the aroma smells like skunky marijuana...love this beer... espicially the 25.4 oz bombers that are 1.99 at the local smiths..

Steinlager is a great beer for all occasions.Over here we generally call them green grenades or bombs depending on the size of the bottle.

Wow, am I surprised. This is almost mainstream perfection for it's type. Aroma: Something which could be almost be turned into a personal deodorant. Appearance: I think that smart people really don't go by appearance but the great bubble/head combination again beats anything I've seen lately. Flavor: Lovely dry taste with creamy/peppery overtones (like a good gravy <g>). Palate: Very smooth and dry without a trace of sweetness (which I really like). This is now a new favourite beer (sorry Little Creatures).

Not bad, despite the green-bottle "skunkiness".
