Feb 25, 2006 pours a clear yellow with a thin foamy head which left excellent lacing. Has a very nice malty taste a bit bitter and dry feeling left on your palate.

Aug 8, 2007 My boss is from New Zealand and he was a bit shocked to find that it’s cheaper in the US then in New Zealand. Then again they have some crazy alcohol taxes.
Pours a crystal clear light yellow straw color. Lots of foamy white head sit on top of this brew. Little bit of lacing is left on the glass as the foam settles. Bit of malty sweetness in the nose. Little bit of sulfur in the nose too. Light malt flavor. Little skunk in the taste. Not much else to speak of. Bit better then US macro but not much.

May 1, 2006 Clear bright gold with a loose white head. Skunky and malty with some rough hop aroma. Sweet and malty with some hints of honey. A little thin. Pleasingly bitter.

Aug 3, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Oh sweet memories, this was a clear favourite of mine many years ago in New Zealand. In particular I loved the fantastic aroma hops. Just smelling this beer was half the pleasure. But either my memory is failing me or my dearly beloved Steinie has really declined in recent years.
Pilsener golden with a decent, creamy head leaving a pretty lacework. Decent malty body and a hoppy finish. Just another ordinary lager. Sadness... 030805

Jul 21, 2006 Skunked. The aroma from this bottle was skunk before I poured it. It obviously spent some time in a warm window before I purchased it. Pale yellow, with a good white head. Good medium body, with lot of malt flavor. I’ll try and overlook the skunk taste in the score.
