Light straw aroma. Sweet taste, with a touch of bitterness. Oily palate, with a dry finish. Yellow and bubbly, it has a fizzy white head.

Easy to drink with a refreshing taste. Even better with a citrus wedge. A nice story & advertising campaign around the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 26, 2013
Big offwhite coarseish head doesn’t last long. Deep yellow body with carbonation. Light dusty fruity aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweetish grainy fruity taste with dusty alcoholic notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish dusty grainy aftertaste with papery fruity notes. It’s perfectly OK, but not very exciting. (0.3l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Average NZ Breweries beer...malty, with not a lot else to talk about really. Probably less sugar used in brewing compared to the original ’Steinlager’, as this one does not deliver the ’hangover from hell’ , as the original did. Drinkable, but definitely no ’awards’ forthcoming NZB.,

33 cl. bottle. Pours straw yellow with a white head. Aromas are corn, hay and skunky. Flavors are pretty much the same. Not a whole lot going on.

En ljust gul öl med snabbt försvinnande skum. Söt i doft och smak. Tunn. Snygg burk.
