Easy to drink with a refreshing taste. Even better with a citrus wedge. A nice story & advertising campaign around the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This isn’t a bad beer for what it is. Tastes are mostly grain, grass, a VERY slight hint of that horrible Heineken taste, but not enough to ruin it. Sweet finish. Drinkable, but I’d prefer a good Pilsner over this.

Wow... Pure alright in the sense that this brew is purely light struck and skunked from these fancy green bottles and open six pack tops. I’m sure the non light struck version is better however the majority that get shipped out of new Zealand I’d assume get light struck. Macro macro macro.

330ml green bottle purchased in Dunedin NZ and consumed the followig day. Light in color and very light in body, this has excellent clarity but only a small fizzy head that soon disappears. Aroma: light sweet malts and white bread. Very mild but pleasing. Flavor: more hoppy than suggested by the aroma, but still sweet up front and only mildly bitter in the finish and aftertaste. O: much better than the bottles I’ve had in the USA.

This beer tastes like a a typical cheap college beer. Nothing special about it, I tried it because it was from New Zealand

Canned (thanks CueSheet & SADESA). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, some herbs, bready notes as well as some sweet maltiness. Flavour is floral, grassy and quite hop dominated with some mild notes of toffee as well. Surprisingly good.

Bottle. Clear light gold color. Decent, quickly disappearing head. Aroma is weak watery, skunky with grain undertones. Taste is weak, grains, watery.

Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a two-finger white foamy head that held a while before diminishing quickly. Laced as a few streaks. Carbonation initially very high with lots of medium sized bubbles but by time I was midway through the glass the carbonation had decreased to low. Aroma of grain and light malt is quite pleasant. Taste of slight sweetness and a slight hops bitterness. Light body becoming watery once carbonation levels drop. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel but one to drink quickly to enjoy the best it has to offer.

Can. Aroma has notes of honey, sweet malts and floral hops. Medium yellow hue with a small white head that mostly diminished and left little lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is light bodied and watery average. Overall another sweet foreign lager that fails to impress.
