Almost reminded me of a Heineken on seeing the bottle and smell but whilst in NZD decided to go for it. Pours a golden color, medium foam head, grassy notes. Some sweet and bitter in the taste , goes down smooth. Not bad overall, better than some skunky Heinekens I have tried, a hit and miss with them though. Maybe this beer as sourced direct from NZ and not exposure to any light or shipment.

Bottle from Voldby. Pours light yellow with a white head. The taste is slight sweetish with notes of hops, grain. Slight creamy mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Sweet hoppy finish.

Flaske fra Gl. Strand Øllagerjuli-14: bryggeriet sier "one of the purest beers we can make, no additives, no preservatives etc...". My verdict: hardly any flavour or taste, just plain boring. NZ brewers have proved they can do a lot better than this.

This light yellow colored beer has a mildly sweet aroma. It has the subtle flavor of sweet orange. It is very crisp and very mild. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

MRMedellin (209) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - MAY 31, 2014
Clear golden beer, small head with a bad retention. Grain aromas rule over the others, the taste reveals a light body, watery texture, standard carbonation and a regular flavor, like a macro lager with no specific particularities.

Bottle @ Home. Pours yellow with a fading white head. Aroma of malt, light corn, light grass. Flavor is malt, corn, white sugar, cardboard, hints of grass. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. 080514

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pretty standard lager fare. Pale yellow. Malty, sweet. Ok.

This isn’t a bad beer for what it is. Tastes are mostly grain, grass, a VERY slight hint of that horrible Heineken taste, but not enough to ruin it. Sweet finish. Drinkable, but I’d prefer a good Pilsner over this.

Wow... Pure alright in the sense that this brew is purely light struck and skunked from these fancy green bottles and open six pack tops. I’m sure the non light struck version is better however the majority that get shipped out of new Zealand I’d assume get light struck. Macro macro macro.

330ml green bottle purchased in Dunedin NZ and consumed the followig day. Light in color and very light in body, this has excellent clarity but only a small fizzy head that soon disappears. Aroma: light sweet malts and white bread. Very mild but pleasing. Flavor: more hoppy than suggested by the aroma, but still sweet up front and only mildly bitter in the finish and aftertaste. O: much better than the bottles I’ve had in the USA.
