AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Sep 9, 2008 Pours pale gold with a decent wehite head. Bubbles persist throughout. Nose is a bit grassy and bitter, as is the flavor. Not surprisingly, not too complex, but it fills a NZ rating! TaxiDriver (910), Stadland, Germany Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Quite hoppy, light sweet and later on a light smell of sweat. Medium sized frothy white head, normal long lasting, yellow body. Light bitter taste, short duration. Light to medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation. A light metallic finish. An OK one. hayduke (1621), Eureka, California, USA Aug 18, 2008 Updated: Jan 25, 2009Poured light yellow with small fizzy head. Nose is malty and smells like a mildewed rag. Mouthefeel is light. Flavor is malty also. A drinkable lager. blutt59 (2045), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 17, 2008 25.4 oz. bottle, heady is nice and rocky, color is pale yellow, nose is skunky with a medicinal iodine hop flavor, finish is dry HughConway (364), Alabama, USA Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is a bit past it, taste is industrial lager, after taste not so pleasant. There’s a reason nobody in New Zealand drinks this crap. Steinface (77), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2008 Agree with most of the recent raters, perfect way to describe it. Skunky aroma, tastes and a long lingering after taste. I think if I ever got drunk on this alone and puked, I might puke myself inside out. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland Jul 28, 2008 Very skunky, thin white head. The skunky aroma transfers to the taste as well, and that’s that. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 26, 2008 Bottle from the LCBO. Pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty heavily skunked. Once it clears a bit, there’s a faint grassy hop character, but mostly it’s just skunky. Body is weird - it’s thin up front, but oddly sticky towards the back of the tongue. Flavour is faintly skunky, and... well, not much else. In one word: crap.
