TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 5, 2008 Skunk pale yellow pour with some carbonation, white head and rather foamy. If you can move past the stank it’s not terrible. Grains, grass and kind of a mineral texture. Soda water comes to mind. TheGrandMaster (1846), Auckland, New Zealand Mar 5, 2008 Bottle, pours a pale gold with a large white foamy head. A strong grainy aroma. A dry and grassy palate, clean and crisp. Some sweetness and grainy qualities. Better on draught - will have to rerate. BeerGestapo (725), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 4, 2008 (New Zealand) Yellow color with Sm-White Head. Skunk Aroma with Grassy Hop Taste!!! Not Recommended...... :( JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia Feb 23, 2008 Yeehaw. Got straw? Pours a pale gold with a huge foamy white head. Smells of vegetable hops, straw, and grass. Taste like straw, pale malt water, wet horse blanket. Strong for a pale lager. Just like 95% of all beers in this world. Yellow, slightly bitter. Taste like someone put straw and water into a blender. Plimmer (251), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 18, 2008 Pours a yellow/golden clear body with a small white head. Nose dominated by hops. Sweet malt and hops in flavour and bitter hops in the aftertaste. sunevdj (1765), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Feb 17, 2008 Pours a clear sparkling yellow with a white head. Sweet with a light bitterness. Very malty with some caramel aromas. Also a tiny hint of burnt malts. Very light grassy hoppyness. Light touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Short dry finish. chadcs (76), Westminster, South Carolina, USA Feb 10, 2008 Carbonated taste, reminded me of a expensive Budweiser. Was not at all impressed with this one concedering the price for it. MrStitch (138), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours light gold in color with a thick white head and left a little lacing. Aroma is that of hops, pine, grain, and a little skunk. The taste wasn’t much like the smell though. Much smoother than the initial smell let me to believe it would be. Malty sweetness countered evenly by the hoppy bitterness. This was a beer that went down smoothly starting out sweet and ending bitter and clean. Not a bad lager at all... I’ll have it again sometime.
