COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Steinlager® is a lager with a distinctive grassy note and clean crisp bitterness of green bullet hops. It is balanced with a dry, astringent finish.

Golden colored beer with a foamy white head. Light grainy nose with some wet grass. Dry, grainy beer with some chemical notes and thin sweetness. Grassy hops. Pretty standard lager, but not offensive.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Light aroma. Was sort of a boring lager. Seems this is all I can get when I am in Australia.

Pours a very pale gold with a 1 finger creamy white head (poured pretty violently to get this) that has o.k. retention. Aroma is grass, straw, animal feed, and some toasted sweet grain. Flavor is sweet and grainy, grassy hops feel a bit forcefull for the light and sweet straw like malt notes. Slightly bitter grass and herbal notes to the finish, not too great, better than most of the style I guess but I will not be likely buy it again.

750mL bottle. Pours pale golden, puffy white head. A highly aromatic beer, pity the aromas are quite unpleasant. Grassy hop dominates the aroma, kinda smells like a sheep farm. Sheep poo and grass. A standard lager taste to it, possibly a bit sweet. Unbalanced malty sweetness, and a slight hop bitterness. Clean slightly bitter finish

Corn aroma. Light chemical, but not so bad, a lot better than I expected. Some hops. Yellow, and a little sweet.

This clear yellow beer poured with a white head that quickly dissipated and a faint citrus aroma. There is a slightly tangy caramel malt flavor with a bitter finish.

Bottled. Decent white head over a straw body. Light grassy aroma with some toasted malt, though a bit stale smelling. Dry, thin malt body with good bitterness that leaves a slightly harsh impression overall. Light bodied. Not great, but has some character.

Bottle from same multi-world xmas pack that my sister got me. Clear yellow with fizzy white head and champagne bubbles. Aroma is musty, dirty hops with slight malt background. Flavor is a wierd balance malt and hops that ends up coming off more disturbing than anything else, like the attic of an abandoned house with the sheets still covering the old chairs and the sun slightly shining through the old cobwebs. This beer could be anything but mostly it is very different but oh so familar at the same time. Medium fizzy but crisp at the same time body. Wierd, just wierd, not unenjoyable but just plain wierd. Stephanie says, "tastes like fresh corn on the cob."
