Pours a clear sparkling yellow with a white head. Sweet with a light bitterness. Very malty with some caramel aromas. Also a tiny hint of burnt malts. Very light grassy hoppyness. Light touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Short dry finish.
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 chadcs (76) - Westminster, South Carolina, USA - FEB 10, 2008
Carbonated taste, reminded me of a expensive Budweiser. Was not at all impressed with this one concedering the price for it.

Bottle. Pours light gold in color with a thick white head and left a little lacing. Aroma is that of hops, pine, grain, and a little skunk. The taste wasn’t much like the smell though. Much smoother than the initial smell let me to believe it would be. Malty sweetness countered evenly by the hoppy bitterness. This was a beer that went down smoothly starting out sweet and ending bitter and clean. Not a bad lager at all... I’ll have it again sometime.

This is bad beer. Aroma of skunked Rolling Rock with at thick white head and clear yellow color. Watery body with some hops and yeast for a flavor.
2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 JoeZasada (255) - Beaumont, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 21, 2008
A light pale lager... very mild flavour. Less than warsteiner or czechvar/budvar, but still good.

33 cl bottle - Pours a crystal clear light golden color with a large two finger thick white head. Thick layer lacing. Aroma is spicey, herbal, and grassy hops with skunk thrown in for good measure. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain and spicey hops. Light to medium body. As far as pale lagers go, this is pretty good. A nice session lager and for $10 a twelve pack.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Wulfstan (509) - California, USA - JAN 18, 2008
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2008 This is a pretty good lager with good body and hop bite for a macro lager. It is gold, a little on the pale side, bubbly, with a pretty big white head that dissipates slowly to a thin lasting foamy head and leaves no real lacing. The aroma is basically a somewhat strong, perfumy lager smell with elements of grain and pine. There’s a definite skunky element but this is not really unpleasant or strong. The taste is much better than the aroma, with pretty good malty body, taste, and light sweetness, with a definite hop taste and bitterness, like pine and crushed green grass, that strengthens in a long, bitter, hoppy finish without being too bitter. At the same time, it is still basically light and crisp. Overall, this has good body, taste and bitterness, and is pretty satisfying.
