COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Steinlager® is a lager with a distinctive grassy note and clean crisp bitterness of green bullet hops. It is balanced with a dry, astringent finish.

12. oz bottle in a Boag’s footed pilsner...inch and a half frothy foam that slowly dissipates...active champagne-like effervescence...a little yellowish in the gold...aroma is evident from a few feet away (and outdoors!)...familiar metallic tin with banana notes...a bit of "earth" detected as well....slick, oily consistency...flat metallic aftertaste...reminiscent of Miller Lite...holy beer pong balls, Batman! The start reaks of Silo cup and the end feels like I’m rollling them back across the table...I intended to have this as a tailgate apertif for the Yanks/O’s game today--good thing I celebrated the O’s win with this a few days later...this one shouldn’t hit high in the order....

In the bottle. Pale yellow with the effervescent white head. Horrid skunky aroma that smells like road kill on a summer day. Yeech. Flavor is not an improvement. I’ll be on the lookout for this in a light protected format so as to search for whatever mild characteristics this may be imagined to have.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of toasted malts, hay, and maybe a hint of floral hops. Flavor is watery with hints of toasted malts, hay, and a floral finish. It’s ok for a pale lager but I won’t drink much of this.

Gross. Kind of tastes like how I’d imagine skunk cabbage beer would taste if that existed. I would consider it the Pabst of the Pacific.

11.15 oz bottle. Hoppy aroma, but big gulps go down smoothly. Great tasting brew and easy to drink. Second bottle smelled and tasted skunkier. Overall, Very nice!!

a very, very light yellow pour with no head, little bit of bubbles. smell of grass. taste is smooth, almost like a stella, light and leaves a tangy aftertaste. an okay beer if you are going to be drinking a lot and not looking for big taste, not that bad.

My boss is from New Zealand and he was a bit shocked to find that it’s cheaper in the US then in New Zealand. Then again they have some crazy alcohol taxes. Pours a crystal clear light yellow straw color. Lots of foamy white head sit on top of this brew. Little bit of lacing is left on the glass as the foam settles. Bit of malty sweetness in the nose. Little bit of sulfur in the nose too. Light malt flavor. Little skunk in the taste. Not much else to speak of. Bit better then US macro but not much.
