Nothing stands out in this beer. No hop or malt character. Typical pale lager. Slightly sweeter than others. Not worth paying more for this import.

tastes great ice cold right outta da store on the way home...the aroma smells like skunky marijuana...love this beer... espicially the 25.4 oz bombers that are 1.99 at the local smiths..

bottle. A pale lager, good head. Aroma is nothing special.. taste is typical industrial beer, maybe with a little bit of more hops. Too much carbonatation... medium body...

Bottle A little better than your average American macrobrew pale lager. One of my friend’s favorite brews, but I was very unimpressed. Light urine colored pour with a small head. Grainy aroma and flavor, high carbonation, light body, dry.

Not much here but wasn’t expecting anything either. A basic pale lager that sort of tastes like its always skunked.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 benfergy (147) - Valley City, North Dakota, USA - MAY 30, 2007
Very light yellow appearance, and little head. The aroma is at first sweet, then I realize it is somewhat reminiscent of bourbon. It doesn’t taste like it at all, of course, but the taste is quite interesting; it’s actually has more of a honey taste than most "honey" branded beers (like Honey Weiss). While the taste isn’t too overwhelming, it’s not a typical light lager either. The palate is harsh. Overall, I think I like this beer, and would have it again (although I may not go out of the way for it).
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kenb (1102) - Oregon, USA - MAY 29, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2007 22 oz bottle from my neighbor Mike (Thanks!). Color is like pee, and it has a large head. Smells just like all the other imported Pale lagers in green bottles. Stale, on it’s way to being skunked. Taste is grainy, some corn, grassy hops, with an astringant finish. Body is light, carbonation is high. An Ok lawnmower beer.

This has got pretty low ratings, but I liked this. I was expecting much as, despite beiong good at rugby, I wouldn’t have thought you’d be able to extract Kiwis from sheep long enough to brew a decent beer, but this is just about that. A refreshing bottled lager with enough hops to distinguish it from something like Heineken.
