UPDATED: MAR 10, 2007 Pours a crisp straw color with a thick white head. Aroma similar to that of Molson or Labatt. An okay beer for an ambitious taster - left something to be desired in the aftertaste.

A nice brew. Has a refreshing taste that is kind of a cross between Pacifico and Becks. Refreshing yet bold. It pours dark pale, not clear like most pale lagers. A nice brew thats worth a try at the supermarket 12pack.

Thanks to drewbeerme for this sample. Soon as began drinking this I started getting a headache. I could have been the many many beers I had early on but I really think it was because this was so bad. Yellow color clear fizzy tall white head. Aroma of hay and cigarettes. Yes this smells and wait a second .... tastes like grain and ashtray. .... I imagine being at a shitty bar and my friends spill beer into an ashtray and kindly pour it back in the bottle. one taste of stale cigarettes and I smash the bottle and threaten their asses with green jagged glass. Ok i’ve had too much to drink, drop the bottle, time for bed.

Thick frothy white head on a clear golden yellow body and great lacing! Now on to the bad stuff... The odor could drive off a hungry pack of wolves! Very pungent and musty rotten skunk. Notice I say ’odor’ not ’aroma’. Flavor is the unwelcomed aftermath to the smell o’ death with what I’ve always imagined musty wet swamp weeds and Alpo taste like. Mouthfeel is not so bad considering the turmoil my tastebuds are in at the moment. Tried being objective in this rating but the fact is I just plain hated this beer.

This beer is like so many other beers in green bottles. It sorta goes in the Heinekenish/beers meant for world export category for me. Almost every country makes a beer like this. That having been said, this one is better than most of the others. It actually has some interest. The marketing is bold enough to call it grassy, and it is. It also mentions the hops, which you CAN taste... and they are unusual tasting, but not overly strong. It also mentiond a "dry astringent finish". Hmm this is where it falls short. The finish is kind of dry, and yes, astringent. But also kind of bleah.... Still for this sort of beer (mass market with world export aspirations) it is one on the better end of the continuum. I would always drink this over a Heineken, Asahi, Moosehead, Grolsch, Fosters, Amstel Light, Michelob (and so on and so on).

12oz bottle. Like a bud. Pours a very pale yellow. Light fizz. Not the greatest beer by any chance. Falls somewhere between a Corona and Bud light. Has a light hop flavor, more than a Bud light.
