2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20 wedgie9 (1355) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 15, 2011
Tasted on 2/15/11 from a 330mL bottle purchased at Cost Plus in the Beers of the World box. Pours clear light golden with a thick white head that slowly recedes to rocky and uneven lace. The nose is sweet corn with a bit of earthy yeast and just a bit of light grassy hops. The flavor is sweet corn malt up front with an earthy and grassy mid-palate, and light bitterness on the back of the palate. The body is light with lively carbonation and a medium grassy and bitter hops finish.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 wlajwl (1475) - Iowa, USA - FEB 6, 2011
Another basic lager that is crisp, not really all that unique but not horrible.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 beer4eternity (196) - Tauranga, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 17, 2011
330ml bottle. White small bubbly fully quickly diminishing head on light golden body. Light honey hay grass corn grain stale malt cardboard box, usual NZ macro lager aromas. Tastes light to moderate bitter, moderate sweet. Light medium body, creamy watery texture, average carbonation, long dry finish which I found a bit harsh and unpleasant. What am I missing that the bestowers of accolades for this beer found?
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 curly (2201) - Seattle (Newcastle), Washington, USA - JAN 12, 2011
This beer pours pale gold, completely clear, thin white head fades quickly. Aroma of sweet grain and apple. Taste has a mild "green bottle" taste. Very sweet, very light. Not very good but a decent pale lager. Too bad it’s about 10 degrees outside and snowing like crazy. In the summertime this could be good after mowing grass for a few hours.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sevenlee (365) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - JAN 7, 2011
Nice hoppy aroma. Golden colour with an off white head that laces quite nicely. Has a nice strong hop flavour and a good body. Overall a good solid Lager especially for a mass produced beer.

9th September 2006 Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Raratonga. Fairly full on lager. Rich malt and slightly bitter. Full bodied but overall nothing special.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Princette (8) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 14, 2010 does not count
Yeasty taste in bottled variety, much nicer on tap. Fresh light brew overall, best of the commercial beers in New Zealand
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 notalush (3616) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2010
11.15 ounce green bottle - wtf? - lightly hazy gold with a soapy head - smell of light honey, yeast and lightly skunky hops - damn you green bottle -damn you to hell! - lightly sweet up front, but dries out pretty fast - dusty yeast character - moderate bitterness - faint acidity - finishes a bit grassy and grainy - as with most pale lagers, it isn’t anything all that good, but certainly better than the overall score suggests - would probably be fairly good fresh.
