Bottle purchased several months this past summer while in New England. Not overly impressed with this beer. Thin white head. Very strong aroma of grains. Strong taste of hops. Would not go looking for this beer again.

I bought this a week after I turned 21 and my friend and I played drunken darts at my house on a weeknight. The beer wasn’t that good though.

Had this one bottled. This certainly wasn’t the worst beer I’ve had, and for my first New Zealand beer, I was modestly impressed. Beats the pants off of the swill they brew in Canada for Fosters, that’s for sure.

Served in a plastic cup that made it look all the more like a urine speciman, this pale amber brew offered little or nothing. The aroma was too faint to make much out of. Some hops and light malt, perhaps. Watery texture and blah fizziness. The flavor was weak and watery. Just not a very good brew.

Bottle. Pale beer with a strong frothy head. The aroma is plainly dry and the flavour is quite dry and refreshing in parts. Overall not as bad as the ratings suggest.

Golden color with a large white head. Aroma of grassy hops with a hint of malt. Initial moderate sweet malt gives way to a short, dry finish. Nice body for a pale lager. Not as impressed as I was 20 years ago when I tried this for the first time, but still not bad for what it is.

bleh... sour bland classic pale lager. some kind of subtle spice note that makes it just different enough for me to lable it as exactly like everything else, but it is pretty boring. I think it would be alright to drink a lot of while watching rugby, just like the big three are decent to drink a bunch of while watching football.

Yellow - that prety much sums up the appearance, doesn’t it - nothing really exciting there. Aroma is corn and grains; dust. Fizzy. overly bubbly. thins and corny sweet. Make sure that you can buy a single bottle of this - a six pack would be redundant and a waste of your time. We’re so very lucky that it’s now available in Ohio.
