Steinlager Classic

not a friendly aroma at all. urine colour with thin quickly disspiating head. flaour is stronger than i had expected, though not favourable with me. overall, i may buy again becuase i like to try beers multiple times to ensure a fair rating.

Pretty standard macro lager stuff here, with a decent slightly floral hopped aroma. Other than that, it is all corny taste and over carbonated pale yellow goodness. 750ml bottle.

Very pale, light golden appearance with a soapy, thick twinkie stuffing-like head. Saaz induced, slightly skunky aroma. Clean, crisp, lager flavor - thirst quenching, but not much else to it. Smooth palate. Saaz hoppiness prevails - no real malt presence. Finishes halfway strong palatable all the way through the 25 oz bottle.

Skunkadelic! Guess this wasn’t fresh, but man, it was nasty. Weak and reminiscent of your typical Yankee brew. Boo-urns! Will rerate maybe, some fine, horrible day.

This is just a great beer. An old special at Walkabout, the Australian bar chain in London, sold two of these for a special rate. Cold and clean, goes right down. Very bright taste, peppy like a soda, and yes, grassy tasting. But in a good way. Hops galore.

Golden with rising bubbles. Aromas are grain and metallic hops. Flavours are clean, crisp grain with some malt sweetness. Very characterless and not especially talented on the finish. Claims on the label to be the worlds best lager - its not even close. Re-rate: hops seem greener and fresher this time.

Good hoppy nose and palate, not too much malt beneath, but, obviously, high quality standard lager.

A fairly basic lager, with an above average amount of grassy hops in the aroma department. Finishes fairly clean, but there was a touch of skunk and corn in the flavor, which was a bit of a drag. If I had tasted this blind, I would have thought it was a Becks.
