COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Steinlager® is a lager with a distinctive grassy note and clean crisp bitterness of green bullet hops. It is balanced with a dry, astringent finish.

Clear golden with a small but fluffy white head. Armoa was a little wheaty, with some skunky hops. The palate is plain, and the bitterness is fairly well balanced, pehaps the hops are a little harsh. Not too bad overall, but nothing spectacular.

Clear light gold colour with fast fading white head. Mild yeast nose with slight malt hints. Tangy yeast and malt taste with mild malt finish.

Bottle (750ml - green). Poured like apple juice, slightly bubbly, smallish white head, quickly gone. Smelled skunky, vegetal, sugary sweet, some grain. Taste - not so sweet, very grainy, dry grass, some stale hops, sort of harsh and a bit chemically. Pretty standard SIL - bottle’s too big and shouldn’t be green!

Pour is a clear yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is of burnt malt. Flavor is pretty bland but crisp. Inoffensive but that’s not really a selling point.

Bottle. Golden colour, large white head. Aroma is a bit skunky, malty and grassy. Quite crisp, mostly bland tasting, highly carbonated. Surprisingly inoffensive.

Pours a nice yellow color with a strong skunky aroma. Very smooth palate with hints of molasses or coffee perhaps...? Surprisingly full bodied from a pale ale. It reminded me of some sweeter stouts I have tasted without the heaviness.

A lemon and grass aroma. The appearance is a cloudy yellow with a moderate head. The flavor is indeed crisp and not skunky tasting but with little to offer. Its a heinken with a different label on it basically. Overall it will do.
