Steinlager Classic

Nice colour but the one that i tried was a little skunky. With that aside, a sharp initial taste with lingering hops. Dry finish. Average beer. Get rid of the green bottles and the skunkyness and it may be better.

Drinking this just to add New Zealand. Light lemon urine yellow. Oh yay, another generic international lager. This one actually doesn’t smell so bad, light lemons and wheat, without the usual skunky lager aroma. Smooth palate, with a mild lemon and yeasty flavor. Not offensive, but just nothing there.

Bottled. Light golden with a frothy head and a lot of bubbles. A malty and metallic aroma. Thin and watery. Some malt and hop, but an international standard lager.

Pale, yellow colour. Fluffy head, nice lacework. Grainy aroma. Thin & bland flavour. Could be mistaken for Heineken or Carlsberg or Fosters or Lapin Kulta or.................

pours a golden yellow, head and lacing above average. Has a slight lager skunkiness. Does have some malt, making for a half-decent palate. Not spectacular, but a step above Heiniken.

Frothy white head over a clear pale straw colored body. Despite the green bottle, it's still fairly fresh and hasn't gone skunky. Not much that is really distincitve. Slightly bitter finish.

Bought in the 25.4 oz GREEN bottle..skunk city here i come.. "World's best lager'..we will see. It actually looks pretty good in the glass..nice not too bright yellow colour with a pure white head that shrinks but does not dissapear. Smell is the average "import" lager stench..not good but not horrible. Again the taste is quite average theres some malts and a bit of hops nothing to get excited about. Again pretty non-confrontational on the tongue ..yawn. Qute a drinkable lager i dare say if all you had ever tasted was Bud.

good hop taste mild malt taste for some odd reason this reminds me of a becks but with a tad less taste..decent brew try it
