COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just like Stella Artois Cidre Apple, Stella Artois Cidre Pear’s crisp, sophisticated and refreshing taste comes from the fruit (in this case, pears) in our Belgian recipe. We press handpicked pears to create a Cidre best poured into a chalice, not a pint glass.

From B&M. Pale green gold with a transient fizz of head. Nose cork, Asti, plastiscene, sweet jam and peardrop. Sweet Asti, full sugar lemonade shandy taste with a big scoop of white sugar but just enough tang to keep it interesting. Sticky sugar on the lips. Know nothing of perry/pear cider but like this and it concerns me...

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - big thanks to Fergus for this rare perry! Pours perfectly clear with almost no color and a light, white foam head. Has an odd, artificial pear aroma. Big sweet flavor with fake fruits, apple and pear, sugar. Light bodied with average to heavy carbonation. Syrupy. Sugary finish, faint pear. What?

Bottled 16/03/13. Poured rebelliously into a pint glass. Anaemic and headless wine coloured drink. Smells sweet with a little bit of sickly pear. Sweet fruity pear juice flavours. A decent body. Quite palateable really and certainly not nasty. I didn;t mind this. I also didn’t drink it really cold or with stupid ice in it. Perhaps that’s the way forward, although it could just be the glass.

Bottle at Chriso’s snow tasting 20/01/2013. Sorry for inflicting this on everyone. Crystal clear petrol colour, no head, low viscosity. Very sweet fake fruit aroma. Very seet flavour followed by puke and vague fake pear. Nothing genuine about this in any way.

Well it's certainly sweet. Sweet as, Bruv. Well,it's smells of pears and tastes of sweetners and is not as good as the apple one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A pale greenish yellow coloured perry with a light effervescence. An old fruit aroma, artificial and jelly-like. A light body, slightly dry. A dry tartness is soon followed by a cloying fruit sweetness, along with the fizziness makes this taste like a liquid Haribo jelly, only no where near as pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample from a 500ml bottle - a flacid looking green fizzy pop look, very sweet grapey pear smell. Sweet doesn’t come into it. Makes some of the sickly fruit beers seem tart by comparison. Loads of sugar. Loads.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Very light yellow in colour, no head. Cider, or how Stalla Artois calls it "cidre", tastes way too artifical. Nothing about natural taste or stuff. Way too sweet as well.
