It’s ok, there is some marketing nonsense about hand picked that you could buy into, but what you get is a low end not so sweet and not dry cider that tastes and smells for the most part like an Apple Cider. Inoffensive, not challenging and not setting any benchmarks, you could do worse.

9/28/2014: Stella Artois Cidre... Apparently, this hard cider is "made with hand-picked apples," but then it was unnecessarily diluted, sweetened (with sucralose), flavor, colored, and preserved. They even managed to include some dextrose. Ridiculous. In the end, this "cidre" is watery, sweet, and artificial-tasting. Stella Artois is actually pretty decent beer, but they should be embarrassed to even have their name on this product.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pale golden yellow with a thin white head that lasts. Taste is of apples, grain and grass. Similar aroma. Has a decent body with a dry finish. Easy to drink, enjoyable and offered at a fair price.

Pours a light golden colour with a lacy white head. Apple juice aroma and flavour. A little sweet.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold body with a small fizzy white head that vanished quickly. The nose is pretty typical, in the sweeter side with some nice apple skin notes. The flavor is pretty sweet, a little too "clean" for my tastes, no yeastiness at all. a slight tartness on the back end. Lighter bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. About on par for the style as far as macro ciders go.

Dark blond color. Apple aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, quite sweet, with fruit juice flavor, low acidity.
Simple but not bad.

Golden color in the glass with minimal head. Fresh apple aroma. A bit thin on the palate overall, sort of watered down apple flavor. Not offensive but could be more robust in terms of flavor.

This was poured into a wine glass. There was a somewhat clear yellow color with bubbly carbonation seen rising. There was no head and no lacing. The smell had a fair amount of super sweet apples, nothing else really. The taste was moderately sweet but had a weird sharp tartness. On the palate, holy crap this stuff is sharp. Wooeee! My tongue has been beaten into submission. Mercy, please - "Uncle, Uncle" you win. Overall, overly carbonated cider, sheesh probably wouldn’t come back to.

Definite apple aroma. Pale yellow appearance....quickly fading head. Sweet and tart up front. Aplle flavor is medium...dry finish. refreshing. Apple flavor is somewhat synthetic...but not tooo bad.
