500ml bottle. F**king awful, inauthentic rubbish. This is the liquid embodiment of the guy at school with loads of money who, in a go-kart competition would get his dad to build the slickest, most impressive looking machine with perfect wheel balance, comfiest seat etc.. and losing miserably against the kid who crafted a go-kart with character through months of hard graft and determination.

Enjoyable and certainly aiming for crowd pleaser. Apple come across fairly fresh, and very middle-ground between sweetness and tartness. Very drinkable although not super refreshing due to it not being overly tart.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2016 Pours a fairly big foamy bubbly white head and has a clear light amber appearance. No lacing. Aromas of apple, even pears. Flavours are fruity, mostly acidic. Almost like apple juice. Average retention and carbonation. Sweet and very faint sour mouthfeel. Not bad.

Pours a rich golden colour with big bubble carbonation, but a nice white head that stays longer than any other cider I have had, even leaving some lacing. Apple juice aromas with something else which seems like alcohol, but so low, canít be. Probably the citric or malic acids listed in the ingredients on the can (after cider, water, sugar). The taste is sweet as apple juice, but has some sourness to it, which is quite fine. Adds to the crisp, slightly dry finish. I donít mind this "cidre" at all.

Golden color with a bubbly head. Typical apple nose. Medium body. A bit dry and lots of apple flavor. Tad sweet and a moderate acidity. Ok refreshing cider.

Apple, champagne-like. Aroma has hints of fruit, a touch of floral. Head is rather healthy for a cider, so it drowns the aroma a touch. Appearance is a dark amber/gold, with the aforementioned head. Heavy on the palate, almost syrupy. Rather sweet, with a tangy bite to it.

568ml bottle bought at CitySuper in New Town Plaza, Shatin.

Golden orange colour; Half finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with very fizzy carbonation; Aroma of light apple wine, strong green apple, apple juice concentrate, syrup, yoghurt tartness and tannic; Medium sweet taste of fair apple wine and juice, with fairly strong yoghurt tartness, light sugar, faint wood, strong carbo and quite strong tannic; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is light apple wine in a thin and watery background. Only little juice and bit more dry wineyness and yoghutry tartness with further sips. Sweetness is moderate, some faint woodiness with very notable tannin finish. Okay!... Fairly dry after taste. Quite sweet and tart to mouth.

Comments: Itís Stella, but itís more than macro cider I thought, with fairly good dryness and some light wineyness, light but touches of tartness, sweetness and astringency. Only the syrupy aroma hold its back, otherwise this is easy to down and worth sharing it with friends after meals.

Pours like apple juice. Aggressive pour and no head. It has some carbonation.

Aroma is odd. Yes, apple, but hints of grape maybe?

Taste is quite sweet, but has a good sour aftertaste. Itís a little watery, more than most ciders.

Mouthfeel is very very crushable. Itís little more than water. Very light...itís hard to believe this has alcohol at all. It is a little papery, like an apple core. Again sweet, but slightly sour at the end.

Overall, I think this is excellent. I donít understand the poor ratings. Yes, I would recommend this, and yes I would buy it again!

Twelve ounce bottle at Danny Bís in New Baltimore on July 3, 2016. Medium gold hue, fair apple nose, light to moderate apple flavor combined with something artificial. Certainly better than the ubiquitous Stella Artois bland lager but these commercial hard ciders never seem to have the robust apple flavor of most nonalcoholic ciders.

I found this to be one of the best ciders Iíve tasted. No biting the back of my tongue or acrid taste. No lingering after taste, either. Slightly sweet, crisp, not too dry. Easy to drink.
