1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 stravale (387) - Inverness, SCOTLAND - OCT 9, 2011
Keg @ Premier Inn M6, Carlisle. 051011
Golden, clear, rocky white head.
Aroma - Grainy, corn, not much hop, bit harsh.
Taste - cereal, grains, light sweet malts, cardboard, some bitter hops, harsh metal notes, chemicals, poor taste.
Very high carb, bitter metallic finish.
Lousy macro lager. Not good. Never liked this stuff.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheCametron (471) - SCOTLAND - OCT 9, 2011
Keg at Brass Monkey. Had a taste o’ Miggy’s. Had many pints of my own in the past. Golden to Orange. Fizzy. Mild nod at a Belgian yeast strain. Pretty dull malt profile. Bad really. I hear it’s better on the continent.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 MacMoney (326) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 9, 2011
Draught in Budapest. Pours a regular pale lager color; golden with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is light straw and malt. Taste is much of the same. Refreshing in the 35+ heat, but that’s about it.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 seymour (607) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 30, 2011
Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Clear, light gold color with firm, white foam. Good noble hops aroma. A well-balanced and easy-drinking lager, an upgrade from the typical American Light Lager. Don’t judge me: but blend Stella with fresh-squeezed orange juice for an out-of-this-world mimosa.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Benjii (1686) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 27, 2011
Fittingly, I wrote my rating for this on the sick bag during our flight home from Belgium. From a can. This "beer" pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Big bready yeast aroma with some barley and faint caramel notes. Flavour was again dominated by bready yeast with caramel, grassy hops and a subtle metallic finish.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 AWMiller (476) - Mansfield, Texas, USA - SEP 26, 2011
This brew poured up a clear, light-golden colored body with a white frothy head that dissipates very quickly and left no lacing. Standard norm on the scents and flavors as that of adjunct lagers: grains, hops, malts. Light-bodied, easy to drink, highly carbonated with a clean, dry, hoppy finish. A good brew to have with some zesty fish-n-chips!

Draft. Taste of wet cardboard and metal. Not a pleasant flavor. Would rather have most other lagers over this.

50cl can. Drank it straight out of the can. Normal pilsener taste. With some hay, hops and a Belgian yeast touch. Comparable with Jupiler. An ok pilsener.
