Barrios (852), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jul 12, 2009 Pours a straw color body and a white head with legs. Smells clean and skunky. Flavor is crisp, malt, and some skunk. rosenbergh (843), Helsinki, Finland Jul 12, 2009 330 ml bottle. Finland.
Pale golden colour with thin white head.
Slightly hoppy and malty aroma. Malty flavour with touch of hoppiness. Not bad for a Pale Lager. hero12 (58), USA Jul 12, 2009 Pours a golden yellow color with a two inch white head. The smell is very skunky and a little hoppy. Taste of yeast, a bunch of carbonation, and a suprising finish. One of the better pale lagers I’ve had. GardenGabe (125), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 10, 2009 Very Clear pale straw pour with a white quick settling head. Somewhat cheesy nose very little floral (rose) and some corn. Clean dry feel with some tingle left on the tongue. Taste is bitter with a sweet finish. CUJO (339), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jul 10, 2009 The beer’s nickname is WifeBeater... enough said. It’s on tap everywhere, always tastes the same... filtered and pasteurized, pours perfectly clear and yellow. High carbonation, no lacing, skunky aroma and taste. AndrewC (70), Canterbury, Kent, England Jul 7, 2009 Ah Stella. I’ve got a bottle of the stuff in one hand and a Ricard and water in the other. Brings back sweet memories of the Loire; the heat, the storms, the flies and the slow decent into a semi-psychotic state. I’m drinking this on an empty stomach to so Rock ’n’ Roll!. A friend at work describe Stella as like drinking petrol. That’s a bit harsh. I like it’s grain-edge and its, "I’m about to pass out", body. Long live Stella. guinnessphreek (2), British Columbia, Canada does not count Jul 7, 2009 Golden appearance with a bit of a skunky aroma. High carbonation so it doesn’t go down as smooth as some other beers but is still very refreshing. One of the better lagers out there. rader58 (164), Leawood, Kansas, USA Jul 5, 2009 Pours a pale yellow. Aroma of yeast. Strong bitter, pungent flavor of yeast.
