Bosskie (106), Netherlands May 20, 2009 Fine pils, refreshing, well-balanced, with a rich, chewy aftertaste with no bitterness. Hints of sweetness and cereals. zdk (180), New York, USA May 18, 2009 decent pale lager... usually the best thing on tap at your average club/bar.
head is large and white also has nice aroma. I’ll take it over your average economy beer in a pinch. markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA May 17, 2009 Geez. Another Pale Lager out there. It might get more credence because it is technically Belgian, but it is very similar to other pale lagers. Still some malt and adjuncts. Nothing noteworthy about it overall. weezfour (122), Oradell, New Jersey, USA May 16, 2009 Partial to this for some reason, dunno really why. Maybe its the fact that you get to rip paper before drinking this one. WVHouseofBeer (332), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA May 14, 2009 Eh just a middle of the road pale lager. Nothing really stands out about it, but it is still way better than the average American macro lager. LC JediMindTricks (239), Hampton, Virginia, USA May 14, 2009 Drinkable....taste and aroma were not particularly noteworthy...it is what it is... jcr (1134), Jasper, Indiana, USA May 12, 2009 Draft. Good-looking frothy white head that diminishes. Pale yellow, clear body. The aroma is initially sharp with grainy malts and toast with a note of herbal hops and a hint of canned corn. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes much the same way, though slightly more bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. More flavor than most macros and with a little pils kind of bite, but only a little. I didn’t know until the bill came that the restaurant charged $6.50. Maybe it was the Stella glass that drove up the price because it wasn’t the beer. Can I say "sucker"? thewombat (112), Brooklyn, New York, USA May 12, 2009 very clear yellow color with foamy head. Smells a little stale, like the inside of a dive bar. Light grainy flavor, bitter almost waxy finish. Average, beer-y beer.
