bottle in a weizen glass - pours clears yellow with lots of head that disappears quickly. yup, it’s a lager: refreshing, quick finish, simple flavor and goes down smooth.

OVERATED and overpriced as far as beer goes. Clear pale gold with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is nonedescript, maybe grass and citrus. Taste is extremely mild citrus, plenty of grass. Watery mouthfeel.

A clear golden yellow with a nice white head quickly diminishes. The aroma is hoppy with a mild citrus note, while the flavor exhibits more smooth maltiness and an almost meaty yeast taste. As far as macros go, my favorite.

Pour crystal clear straw colour with diminishing white head. Very slight malt and dms in aroma. Balance slightly bitter taste. Generally better than I remembered. A surprisingly refreshing beer.

Thoroughly overated lager. Nose is nonedescript. Taste is bitter, slightly citrussy and the finish is short. It’s exported worldwide as ’reassuringly expensive’ , agreed it is expensive , but there is nothing reassuring about it. It’s got a poor taste and guarantees a hangover.

Fra dåse, dufter af korn, hø.... gylden med svagt hvidt skum....... smager ok frisk, korn.... svag eftermag.... en ok pilsner....

Never tried this until I saw a brewery review on Discovery Channel. This was a surprisingly good beer, with a creaminess in the head, very smooth palate and no bitter aftertaste. Served in standard chilled beer mug, with light carbonation. While not my daily beer, this is a good beer for a change from a daily beer and goes down quite smooth. More a sipping beer in my opinion than a drinking beer. Definitely one of my favorites when looking for something from my daily fare.
