NOTES: BBCSD-0810-Patrick andreic (53), Ireland Mar 23, 2009 Pale yellow-gold with white head that left a little lacing. Slight perfumy aroma. Fairly thin and bland but quite bitter. Slight metallic taste to it. There are many better lagers out there... Frovigalning (388), , Sweden Mar 22, 2009 Clear piss-yellow colour, big foam that disappeared fast and left a lacing. Had a very weak smell, not existant almost. Tastes a bit bitter which saves it, besides that it was very watery. Had a lean taste but very boring. Probably the worst belgian beer Ive ever tasted. aaronbr (49), Palo Alto, California, USA Mar 21, 2009 I’ve always considered Stella to be a wholly unoffensive macro pale lager. Smell is skunky. Color is a pale and transparent straw yellow. Has a little more bitterness than a typical macro, which saves it a teensy bit (As you can see from my other ratings, I’m a fan of hoppy ales). I still think as far as this price range and style go, it’s just as I’ve always thought of it: unoffensive and cheap beer. Burch (8), United States Virgin Islands does not count Mar 17, 2009 Stella pours golden with a nice thick head. Smooth hit on the tongue with a nice bitter bite at the end. Always a good drink to have. 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 15, 2009 Seeing as I was just in Belgium I suppose I should rate this from the source. I would have taken some notes but I didn’t know that I hadn’t already rated it. This beer maybe quite light in flavor and fairly light in body, however, it is very clean. Very soft bready sweetness, quite crisp and dry, grassy. Not skunked at all in Belgium compared to what makes it across. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England Mar 9, 2009 Updated: Jun 11, 2009I’m not a beer snob.Sometimes i’ll hapily swill down beers like Corona And do it wit content.Keeps one humble.I see no merit wit Stella. Stella Artois has a cult following with juice heads ,low lives & teenagers.Stella Artois has a diverse range on tulip glasses.I like that .Aroma of h2o grain..flavours are too sweet and syrupy ..then lots of dryness and hop bitterness from the miserable hops. Don’t drink this. It’l fuck with your head pal. JohnC (2227), Mission Viejo, California, USA Mar 8, 2009 bottle
yellow/gold pour with a white head. the flavor is lightly hopped w/ some malt.
