TerenceHua (87), , Singapore Feb 26, 2009 Spots a nice clear shimmery yellow. Good malt and hops fragrances. Very nice level of carbonation. I appreciate tha fact that the maltiness stands out eventhough it’s a light body beer. The low degree of hops bitterness (not hops taste) allows the sweetness in the brew to come forward. Crisp and clean, it’s easy on the palate. Highly refreshing uncomplicated pale lager. Do note that whereas this beer has a simple taste, it does not lack character. The various aspects to this lager are well balanced and, the interplay is neat. jeff789 (357), Pennsylvania, USA Feb 24, 2009 Pours a clear yellow with a tiny white head... Aroma is bready with a nice mild malty nose, little to no hops... Taste is sweet with notes of bread again, no hops, thin finish... Not a terrible lager if i would be required to drink a pale lager.... MrH (8), Kalken, Belgium does not count Feb 23, 2009 I prefer not to call this a Belgian beer, it isn’t even brewed in Belgium anymore, it is brewed in Germany, blasphemy! This beer has a very cheap taste, a tiny hint of hops and a soapy aftertaste, I blame it on the mass production. Definitely not my cup of tea. luttonm (274), Belgrade, Serbia Feb 22, 2009 330ml. Crisp with bready, yeast malt nose and taste. Way better than most macros but very plain. rather bitter. aetheon (55), Beer Dungeon, Minnesota, USA Feb 20, 2009 nice golden color, bit of a skunky smell, almost no lacing. med-light carbonation.
Flavor is mostly skunky malt and very little hops. notes of sweaty sox and corn. OK, I trashed it a bit, its still drinkable tho. Pretty sure I will not pay for it again tho. fromred2green (140), , Ohio, USA Feb 19, 2009 Tap. Pours a golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is rather hoppy; taste is slightly hoppy as well. Finishes well, goes down easy. trayns (237), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA Feb 19, 2009 Bottle and on tap. Pours a yellow gold and a nice big white head. Classic crispy refreshing taste, smooth and a mild hop bite to finish. A lighter body and a clean finish. aletales (73), , Oklahoma, USA Feb 15, 2009 Stella poured clear and gold with a one finger head that stuck nicely to the side of the glass. It’s aroma was crisp and malty which was reflected in it’s taste. I love carbonation and this one had plenty which complemented its smoothness. This is a very easy beer to drink.
