Pours a clear gold with a thick frothy white head with good staying power. There is moderate carbonation that lasts. I notice faint floral notes and a bit of bread. Very mild bitterness with a touch of sourness. Not bad, not great

Bottle looks very simple, beer in the glass quite light, small head. Starts mild, but also quite dry and metallically. Finish not as intense as the beginning. Drinkable, but not really with joy...

Clear yellow pour, nice frothy white head. Aroma has notes of some flower, grass, touch of hay and biscuit. Taste is some bitter grass, some floral and biscuit, finishing slightly yeasty, dry and a touch bitter. Pretty clean finish. One of the better pale lagers, but the flavors are weak.

22 oz, straight from the bottle. Tolerable, drinkable, but ultimately not memorable.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2011 Servie en fût, dans son verre éponyme, une bière d’un blond cristalin, malheureusement dépourvue de son col blanc (sa bonne effervescence me laisse présager d’une maladresse du serveur à couler la bière...). Des arômes un peu ennuyeux de céréales et un houblonage herbacé assez standard pour une lager. Pas de défaut de goût. Un palais commercial "one-sised". Servie trop froide. Elle était, au moins, désaltérante.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2011 You know, I must say, this is one of the better pale lagers of ANY price that my fairly inexperienced tastebuds have united with.

Smells very light, but the flavour is strong enough but not overpowering. A very clean tasting beer and well worth the extra money. Do not buy from the LCBO though because they always let them go skunky... buy a 24 in the box so it has never been exposed to light.
