Smell is of corn grain malt and lightly hopped. Tastes like corn, smooth with lots of grain malts and a hop bitterness that slowly fades. Very drinkable. sdriessen (203), Dunedin, New Zealand

A rather sweet aroma but with no complexity, some straw-like malt and hops with a bit of alcohol present.
An astringent bitterness with almost no flavour behind it. Some hops in there, but overall boring and watery.
I don’t hate this beer, but I don’t love it. donfardz64 (407), Wellington, New Zealand

Grassy aroma, tastes of grassy bitter hops. Some candy sweetness as well. Finishes slightly dry. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Updated: Feb 25, 2009the aroma is nearly non-existent but the appearance is somewhat pleasing...it is a bright golden color with a foamy white head and thick lacing and lots of bubbly action. it is a light drinkable beer but the flavor is merely inoffensive and offered nothing to speak of other than some light hoppiness. it has a bit of a creamy mouthfeel for a lager but the finish is fairly abrupt. i wouldnt turn it down but i wouldnt go out of my way to drink it very often. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 28, 2008 bottle smells like cat piss and tastes like it too. overlooking the skunked bottle the body is good but the finish is harsh and grassy and not the good kind of grassy. i liked lagers but this one disappointed me quite a bit. maybe on tap and fresh its a different story.
