3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
White splochy head. Nice lacing. Golden color. Aroma of rubber. Smooth clean flavor with a little bit of a bite. Tinge of sweetness, but overall, a typical European Pils. I do like the smoothness, reminds me of czech pils.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma from both bottle but primarily tap is hoppy with a small amount of spice which immediatly differentiates it from most macro lagers (in my limited experience.) Looks clear yellow but a bit on the lighter side that I expected. Drinks similar to other lagers with small amounts of malt and a bit of hops but very little body. Aftertaste was similar to the aroma (which was pleasing) just a hint of spice and a bit of hop. I give this extra points in overall impression as it manages to wind up beside all the other macro stuff on tap in Australia, I think it's real beer.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Coasters Brewpub. This beer's appearance consisted of a small sized white frothy head with fine-medium bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated and transparent with a yellow-gold hue. The nose was lightly malty and the flavor was malty and somewhat bitey with an aftertaste. The palate was tingly and bitey and this was a light-medium bodied beer with fair lacing.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2007 Had this on tap in a NYC restaurant. Aroma of malt and spice. A bit of a Heineken-like quality in the flavor, but not too similar. The flavor is dominated by malt, with that bit of spice and some hop in the aftertaste. A good beer, but don’t drink more than a pitcher at a time.
RE-RATE: Poured from bottle. Aroma a dead ringer for Heineken - not a good start. Appearance of a light lager, but paper-thin head persists. Flavor is pretty much as I called it in the 1st review. Has clean feel - very easy to drink. Finished OK. Decent.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 62. This draft brew was enjoyed at Coasters in Eau Gallie Florida out of 1 of their 32 taps. This brew poured a medium sized head of finely sized white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a transparen very softly carbonated yellow orange colored body. It had a medium strength malt hop aroma and a chewey mellow malt mouthfeel. The flavor was that of a medium strength malt.
