1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
The european bud light. I have drank this every way possible- warm, cold, bottle or tap.. anyway you get it, its still comparable to a mass-produced beer from the states. Pretty boring.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2006 I have had this one a number of times but have never been particularly impressed. Sampled on draft for this rating the beer poured a medium yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is light and fairly nondescript. The flavor has a light malt element but otherwise is bland and inoffensive.

2.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had a pint from a Bar. Absolutley stunk horribly, I mean like, really bad, like a farm. Tasted nothing like the smell, it was quite nice, and really looked good.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Transparent, pale yellow in color. Frothy, creamy head and nice dissipating lace. Smells like a lager - yeasty with crisp lemons. Sticky and starchy on the palate. Astringent yet crisp. Lemon acidity. Very yeasty backdrop, which distinguishes it from others in the genre. Lemon shortbread aftertaste.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from the tap, this pale yellow sparkling beer had a medium sized foamy head that lasted a few minutes leaving some lacing on the glass. The aroma was light, crisp, and clean with notes of citrus and some of the characteristic skunkiness. The flavor was not particularly complex but easy to consume. There were notes of citrus in a slightly sweet malt base.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not so bad for a lager...there is some malt sweetness to this which gives it a rounder taste and less skunky than others...a solid thirst quencher.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Straightforward. A little skunky on the nose, but a good solid flavor and light finish. Not great nuance, but enjoyable all around.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not your typical Belgian brew, but very good none-the-less. A good go-to beer (if you can afford it).

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Faintly hoppy with some citrus notes, not too skunky, tastes fairly fresh. I imagine it would be better on tap, like you see in those cool commercials. Better than your typical American lagers, but it’s really nothing that special.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: APR 27, 2005 Aroma is a mix between rising yeast dough and a skunk. Maybe not as bad. Doesn’t look too bad in the glass although the head dissappeared before i got my lips on it. My biggest knock is the flavor. I’m not sure what it is but I certainly know what it’s not....very good. Somewhat light, tingely, on the palate but I’d rather drink champaign or have a Duval. Overall, it’s overpriced and I’m having buyers remorse.
I’ve rethought this beer after chilling it down a bit. Still not great, but somewhat refreshing when very cold.
