Light gold, with a small head which fades quickly to a thin covering. Aroma dominated by a steely hop, without any nice malt to go with it. Flavour much the same, lacking in malt, but without enough in your face hops to make it stand out from its ilk. Nice enough, better than megaswill, but not great.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2004 Good, clean lager...I wish it would come to Michigan! A lot better after taste than Urquell without the funky smell of Heineken.

The apperance is a pale yellow color with a moderate white head. The aroma is hay and lemons. The flavor is pretty tame with some malt accents showing through. Not a bad beer for mowing the lawn but it offers very little complexity. A good simple lager that does offend nor impress.

draft in prague: very simple clean lager is what you have here. a nice floral aroma. not alot of flavors working here. not worth the money, even in praha.

Pours a classic golden/yellow color. Has a sweet grainy aroma. Has a normal lager taste to it. Can’t really tell it apart from most brew of this style. Maybe a little more flavor than some. Also not offensive at all. Certainly drinkable, but it is really expensive for what you get.

Yellow hue, with a very subtle malt and fruit aroma. Smooth and light mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Almost no hop presence with a finish that disappears rather ingloriously. A pretty good session beer though. If I could get this for $2 a pint I would drink it more often, but it’s always overpriced for what you are getting.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2004 There’s not much there- very light but fairly well balanced. It would be o.k. on a hot summer day, but not a sipper. I’d rate it above BMC and some of the Mexican beers. At it's price, it's certainly overpriced.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2006 Rerate. Pours pale straw yeloow with a film of a white head left afeter it settles. Smells musty to me. Not much for flavor. Fairly watery, reminds me of Molson or Bud. It goes down easy but it’s like drinking water.

Bottled. This was among the "premium beers" offered at a trendy nightclub. Served in a bottle that was nearly frozen. Even then, I must admit, there was a pleasant little hoppiness that even made itself felt through the cold. And there is something of a malt profile, perhaps like a watered down Duvel. Still, it’s a beer that’s trying to be the Belgian Heineken.
