2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I was excited by the appearance of this beer upon first pouring it -- it poured an attractive golden shade with streams of bubbles and a good thick white head -- but I was let down by the aroma and flavor I experienced thereafter. Aroma was pleasantly hoppy but weak, and the same was true of the flavor. The brew was quite refreshing, but it simply lacked the strength of flavor that I was hoping for. Not a bad beer at all, but it just doesn't live up to its appearance or its reputation.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2005 (Bottled) Very pale golden color, largeish head with big bubbles and lace. Very mild, hoppy and somewhat fruity aroma. Citric-hoppy, slightly malty flavor with a sugary, slightly harshly bitter finish and no aftertaste. Light-bodied, quite smooth palate with balanced carbonation. A very easily drinkable, but not watery lager, with hints of the fruitiness of some lighter Belgian blondes. Not that bad, although it has no real taste to offer.

3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I can see from other reveiws that this isn't very popular, but I disagree. Nice yellow color with plenty of carbonation, good crisp flavor of malt and nice hops. I could drink this beer all night.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a head that looked like a glob of spit, which surprisingly lasted the whole beer. Had a buttery aroma, warm bitter flavor. Nice old beer. I would have it again, though not my favorite

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
poured to a pint glass from a tap. thin white head and bright yellow color. little to no aroma, medium fizz, and light grassy taste. it's funny that Belgium exports this, but since it's in a lot of bars now I'm assuming this is driving a lot of revenue, so good for them.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 3, 2007 June 2002 Bottle. This is a lager that I have recently developed a taste for as an everyday cooler. It has no distinguishing features, is steady and reliable and leaves no nasty tastes. It is also quite reassuringly cheap. What more praise can one give?! The Ford Mondeo of lagers! Give that man a Stella! [2.5]
March 2004. Bottle. Head to Head with Baltika Classic. Both are yellow. A big hit of sharp prickly rubber with the Baltika. Both have a co2 aroma. More hops in the Stella - a better balance of what flavour there is. Nothing obscene about the Stella - it’s drinkable. Stella beats the Russian. [1.9]
Dec, 2006 Bottle. Drinkable, slightly biscuity pale lager. No big off-flavours, though no character either. Mild, dry, soapy bitterness in the finish. Hoppier than the average global lager. Compared side by side with Skol and Carlsberg. Acceptable. [2.5]
April, 2007Tap, Clarendon, Gillingham A salty finish. An awareness of bitterness. Neutral. Drinkable. Assertive but not aggressive fizz. [2.3]

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap. Light golden color with creamy white head. Poor lacing. Odor was somewhat hard to pick out and was terribly weak to boot, but had mild hops and yeast character. Front was mildly sweet with fizzy carbonation and a lightly bitter finish, some hop character. Very boring, fairly drinkable and painfully overpriced.

Pale yellow, foamy white head. Hoppy start, some bitter in the end. Tastes lame and metallic.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle sample- Pours a head average for this style beer. Blanchy white. Body is almost a "bright" yellow. Kinda strange. Aromas of hops and corn. I thought it was flavourful at first, because it does have some bitterness to it, but that faded rather quickly, and the end result was a beer that tasted just above par. Nothing to write home about. I must admit though, they make it seem like the classiest beer in the world.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap in QC Canada. not even the lure of the Chateau Frontenac could disguise the fact that this beer is an imposter. Is has all the bite, but none of the body. Its lack of artificial sweetness makes it better than the american standard pilseners, but not enough to justify it's "premium" status.
