On tap. Light gold pour, small head. Pretty boring aroma. Flavor is also boring, just some skunky saaz and light sweetness, light feel, but honestly, the best lager I think I’ve had in a long time. Very easy going and not too light to be boring.

this was aight. more skunky than i expected. i had it at an upscale place in manhattan which had some decent brews on tap so i guess i expected more. no flavor, just kind of carbonated and boring. slight citrus hint but not much. kind of watered down, which was disappointing.

Status Quo brew or "How to brew the mildest beer that we can market the hell out of and push on mainstream America?" pretty boring. This is not why I drink beer.

A clear golden colour with quite a nice head for this style of beer. The aroma is basically insipid with nothing bad but nothing to recommend it either. It is clean and crisp on the palate and has just a vague hint of hop bitterness balanced by a mild sweetness. It finishes clean but unremarkable. Overall it doesn’t offend, it is better than some, but basically it’s BORING! I refuse to pay well over the price of a local lager just to be bored!

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2005 Seems like a long way to go for a beer that is just like every boring domestic already here. I can’t think of one good reason to spend $1.50 more for this than an MGD, when I can’t think of a good reason to buy an MGD in the first place. Best thing I can say is it doesn’t take too long or involve much distraction to drink one.

Although sometimes referred to as a "Budweiser of Belgium," this is a decent pils type of brew. Had good pale maltiness to it, with some grassy/citric hop presence. Easy to drink.

This is a nice utility pils that is easy to drink. If I have friends along for a drink who don’t think they like Belgian beers, I give them this and they are totally comfortable.

Along with Jupiler , this is the only ale worth bothering for in Belgium. No surprise they are both interbrew. Nice beer for a night out, but only 2nd place here!!!

Good yellow golden pils. Clear pils nose. taste is clean, on the light side and ends with a hoppy touch.
