1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear greenish yellow with thick fizzy white head. Grainy skunky and adjunct laden aroma. Bland watery flavor that’s drinkable but lightly metallic and grainy like rotten cereal. Finishes watery & metallic.

You think its hugely common in the UK, try living in Leuven where it's made. Cheaper than water, I kid you not. Definately not a what I would call an overly fabulous beer but very drinkable and enjoyable. Great for kicking back and relaxing.

Ah, the great and notorious Stella Artois. It will always be there for you. A smooth drink, only slightly watery, but always a reliable benchmark of getting messed up by degrees. Stella floods the UK market, by far the biggest beer sold over there. What amazes me is how such a hugely common popular brew in England is considered something of a posh beer here. In any event, Stella has a mild taste and nice light amber color. Not too distinctive, but certainly trustworthy.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: DEC 11, 2008 [draft - Airport Marriott - Greece, NY] Pours a faint straw yellow with a decent white head, good carbonation and good lacing. Has a bit of a skunky aroma to it. Crisp taste with a slightly bitter aftertaste to it. A bit reminiscent of Heineken, but not as bitter.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Straw body and loose soapy white head. Nutty, grassy, skunky aroma. Crisp, flavorful, and fairly easy to drink but has some Heineken stink breath qualities. Still, I can't help but think that the world would be a better place if the Budmilloors masses converted to Stella.

The clear and crispy taste, backsup its tasty appearance and style, with a nice thick white head.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I was excited by the appearance of this beer upon first pouring it -- it poured an attractive golden shade with streams of bubbles and a good thick white head -- but I was let down by the aroma and flavor I experienced thereafter. Aroma was pleasantly hoppy but weak, and the same was true of the flavor. The brew was quite refreshing, but it simply lacked the strength of flavor that I was hoping for. Not a bad beer at all, but it just doesn't live up to its appearance or its reputation.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2005 (Bottled) Very pale golden color, largeish head with big bubbles and lace. Very mild, hoppy and somewhat fruity aroma. Citric-hoppy, slightly malty flavor with a sugary, slightly harshly bitter finish and no aftertaste. Light-bodied, quite smooth palate with balanced carbonation. A very easily drinkable, but not watery lager, with hints of the fruitiness of some lighter Belgian blondes. Not that bad, although it has no real taste to offer.

I can see from other reveiws that this isn't very popular, but I disagree. Nice yellow color with plenty of carbonation, good crisp flavor of malt and nice hops. I could drink this beer all night.

Poured a head that looked like a glob of spit, which surprisingly lasted the whole beer. Had a buttery aroma, warm bitter flavor. Nice old beer. I would have it again, though not my favorite
