Thick, bitter then sour and full of chemicals. Whoops, not 75 characters. There - that's better.

Had on tap. It was pretty tasty. Yellowish, a little on the bitter side. Good if served cold and consumerd before it warms too much. I'll have again while I'm out, but don't think that I'll ever buy a sixer for the fridge.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours very clear yellow with initial foamy white head. Head dissapears quickly leaving lacing. Old hops aroma. Thin clear mouthfeel with slight sweetness. Spicey bitter hop tastes. Alright beer if its served very cold and its a hot day.

I don't know why this beer is rated so low. I enjoyed this beer. I do think it's a little over-rated in my opinion.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
(tap) Has a Heinekin-like stenchy aroma. Pours a light yellow, head is thin to non-existent. Palate is unenjoyable and finish weak. Overpriced and overrated.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Frothy, active, lacy head, mostly receding, medium/low effervescence.
Medium yellow color. Mild hop aroma, somewhat fruity. Flavor is fruity, with some malt notes, somewhat yeasty, some hop tanginess, low bitterness. A bit flat. Finishes sweet, with some acetaldehyde (green apples) creeping in.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2003 Pale gold colour, ample but mostly diminishing frothy white head. Toasted malt and corn aroma. Starts dry and lightly toasted, picks up some corn and sourish notes, with a light and dry bitterness throughout that grows on the finish. Light and dry mouthfeel.

Skunky smell out of the bottle but not so bad out of the can. One of my favourite tasting Macro Import Lager. Can easily enjoy a couple of these because of the lightness.
