Taste is bitter and skunky with a hint of grass and a metallic twang. Subtle malt sweetness. Not recommended. by97aa (3), Surrey, British Columbia, Canada does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 22, 2008 Good beer overall. Has a slight skunky aroma but has a clean crisp finish. Fairly light on other aromas. Presentation and bottle are nice, and add to the overall impression of the beer. Tasted moderately bitter with a crisp finish. Very light, but has the most body I have found for the style. Not a huge fan, but definitely the best of the worst. pumpmaster (476), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

Skunky aroma perhaps from the keg, bready malt and grain. Flavour is quite bland, pale malt with some grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied with some bitterness in the finish. zvikar (424), Tel-Aviv, Israel

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 14, 2008 I was given this beer for free - a sales rep was at my local store, and he shoved one into my hand as I was walking out the door - he also handed me a fancy stella artois glass inside of a velvet pouch that was three times larger than the glass was - I have had this beer before, but I have never rated it, mostly because I have never had the true stella artois EXPERIENCE, by which I mean I have never had it in a fancy stella glass that came wrapped in a velvet pouch - surely something that has its own fancy, cloth-enrobed glassware is one of the greatest beers in the world - all those times I had it in the past and thought it was mediocre must have been because of the inferior vessels used to contain this libation - let us find out - - - - - - - - no - no - it is still boring - how could such flashy presentation mislead me so?
