TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 62. This draft brew was enjoyed at Coasters in Eau Gallie Florida out of 1 of their 32 taps. This brew poured a medium sized head of finely sized white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a transparen very softly carbonated yellow orange colored body. It had a medium strength malt hop aroma and a chewey mellow malt mouthfeel. The flavor was that of a medium strength malt.

Draught, at Hogshead, Birmingham. Boring, tedious lager, which is omnipresent in the UK, and is indeed the no. 1 lager. Skunky falvour, dishwater aroma, looks like shandy and stronger than it needs to be as a session lager. Yawn...

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2003 another overrated lager, it's the only beer that i've tried from belgium i wont pay money for, maybe a more complex [if faint]flavour than most standard mainstream lagers.

Pours a golden yellow with a thin head. Decent lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty. A touch of hops on the tongue. Not a bad brew. Actually, it's pretty good for it's class. I expected this beer to be complete swill.

(bottle) Pale gold. Little aroma. Reasonably refreshing lager/pilsner. I didn't detect any skunkiness/metallic tastes--perhaps I had a fresh bottle. I'm sure the green glass doesn't help.

I was pretty impressed with this brew. A little too expensive to geta lot but a nice change of pace. Really like the flavor once I had a few.

Skunky, sweet and with that metallic cling-to-the-front-of-your-tongue type thing that comes with skunking. OK head retention and perfect clarity obviously, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Didn't think it was any good but then I had a Tooheys New and this killed in comparison.

Very nice dark lager. Had one in Niagara Falls. Nice finish, very smooth. Comparable to a heineken

Dark straw color with a lid of white bubbles. Grass and malt aromas. Dry clight caramel flavors with a floral/dry rose finish. Nothing earth shattering for sure. Just another plain psuedo pils.
