Didn’t get a chance to pour it into a glass, so this review may not mean much. Smelled like a lot of other pilsners, nothing special, maybe a bit more hoppy that others.
Had a crisp, bitter mouthfeel, and about the same in the finish. Wasn’t a bad beer, just nothing to write home about, particular for a ’’premium’’ beer. terrybail (334), London, Ontario, Canada

It is bitter and crisp and you can taste that it is quite strong. However - for some reason it is the only beer of which I can only drink 2-3 bottles until heart burn kicks in. tarheels86 (723), Washington DC, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 27, 2008 On tap at La Rez in Chapel Hill. Official Stella glass. Pours a pale yellow with high, champagne-like carbonation and a large, white head. Okay lacing. Nose is fresh grass, slight hops, grain. Watery body with a sour, metallic endnote. Aftertaste is dry. There is one overall taste and that is fresh straw. Pretty much the most expensive bad beer you can buy. brentfeesh (1036), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 27, 2008 On tap at Cheese Cake Factory in Birmingham AL. Pours pale yellow with plenty of carbonation and a light head. Minimal inoffensive grainy aroma. The flavor is pale lager…What can you do. Grain present in liquid form, though this one has more of a noticeable hop presence (earth and spice). Light watery body with a semi-dry finish. It’s fine for what it is. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 21, 2008 On tap. Looks nice in the glass, with a foamy head, and some lacing on the glass. Otherwise, a grassy, sour, and unpleasent bitter beer, with little else to recommend. Overly carbonated to boot. I found little to recommend here, and quite frankly, have touble understanding the worldwide popularity with so many better light lagers out there.
