Aroma: Mild almost odorless. Tiny amount of malt. Taste: Intentionally bland. Clean, bright and better than most of this style of beer. Beer for people who don’t like beer. rampmaster (318), Alden, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Updated: Sep 5, 2008Presentation: It was poured from green 11.2oz. bottle into a tulip glass that is similar in size and shape of a signature Stella Artois glass.
Appearance: It has a nice light golden color with very good clarity and a good amount of visible champaign like carbonation. On top it forms a big fluffy head that slowly settles and leaves very little to no lace.
Smell: The aroma has a delicate floral and grassy nose.
Taste/Mouth feel: It has a delicate flavor as well as its aroma. There is a mild sweetness that is balanced by light floral, almost fruity and mildly bitter hops. This mild flavor can become skunked very easily so look for as fresh a sample as possible. Its body is light and the finish is crisp and dry. The texture is slightly slick and thin with lively carbonation that makes it very easy to drink.
Notes: A good fresh Stella well have a good delicate and somewhat dry flavor that pairs well with food in place of dry white wine.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2008 I thought it was great that on the episode of Anthony Bourdain where he went to Malaysia, they stopped in a little store in the middle of the jungle 3 hours from civilization and they bought a case of warm Stella. Pours light, clear straw-gold. Nice thick white head. Hints of lemon, wheatgrass and hops. Dry, malty finish. Very effervescent. One of the better lagers on God’s green earth, but if there’s something heavier i’ll almost always go for that. TrappistNr8 (15), Goes, Netherlands

Average, or less than, would be the word. No flavor, no fulfillment, nothing. Dont try to wow me with this thing called Stella, not worth your time or money. Caleb1035 (63), , North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Pours to lite golden body with minimal head. Taste is watery and smooth. Not much aftertaste. Not a bad beer but not worthy of its reputation or premium price. NDbeerdrinker (164), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Not bad for what it is compared to. Pours a pale golden color with a thin white head. Watered down malty aroma with a malty, kind of sweet taste. Not really worth the price bump compared to other beers. Decent at best.
