2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 12, 2010
Pale gold, huge bubbly white head. Sweet aroma and flavor, a slight yeast flavor going on. Finish is rather lingering for this style, good for a mass produced beer.

One of my favorite (and well deserved, considering its great world wide rateing).
..Aroma.. nice hoppy ..hoppy..happy.
fresh cut grass/alfalfa, bitter in a great way, very refreshing, perfect on a hot summer day.(mebe mowing the lawn, or enjoying time with good friends, amazing. Although not hispanic great with some lighter mexican food’s.
..Taste.. almost no malt, infact low sweetness, verry floral, tiny hint of evergreen. (In my opinion)
..Yeast/Bac.. earthy in a green way...umm..( it seems too clean...sterile in a good way, no real bac taste.
Other..bay leaf.....

Definitely one of the better pale lagers around. No skunk or chemical/metal taste and goes down smooth
2.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ronaldtheriot (362) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUL 31, 2010
Stella Artois has a thick, white head and a very clear yellow-golden appearance. Carbonation is high and lacing is present and fairly even. The aroma was skunky, stinging, and bad. The taste is of barley, some other grain I think, and hops, which are relatively strong on the back end of the sip. Mouth-feel is light, watery, and slimy. Stella Artois finishes crisp and fairly refreshing. I preferred this beer when I had it once on tap; the green bottle allows light to spoil the beer. So, I would recommend only drinking this on draft or from the can. Overall, I’d rate this as a pretty good beer.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2010 Ressemble un peu à la Heineken, mais en mois houblonné. Idéale dans ma recette de moules belge à la bière et au cary.

Pours a light yellowish color. Smells a bit of skunk with some fruit and spice. Taste is similar.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jmacatiag (76) - , California, USA - JUL 20, 2010
Stella Artois. This is what Heineken should be like. It pours out a clear yellow with a white head that settles and dissipates very quickly. It has a strong, very strong skunky aroma. It’s pretty intense. It has a slightly hoppy metallic flavor to it. It settles into a sweet undertone that the body carries somewhat well. This is a macro lager but it’s definitely one of the better ones on the market. If you like this sort of beers and are at a basic market, this would be one of the better choices. Overall it’s a decent beer that is marketed really well.
