head: normal
colour: goldenblond, clear
smell: grains , corn , malts, bit of hops
taste: sweet for lager, yeast , hops, bitter , malts , very famous beer national and international but in my eyes like many pilsner/lager types of belgium not worth to be proud of ... altough this one is much better than jupiler, primus or maes

Stella! 22.4 ounce bottle dated 02.2011. What distinguishes SA from other macro lagers is the malt body, which is much more flavorful and perhaps a bit nutty. Not a ton of hops though; in fact, maybe not enough to balance it. It’s not as refreshing as BMC lagers (though better tasting). Not the sort of beer you want when you ask for a Belgian, but IMO, better than given credit for.

ClubGonzo (1732) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2010
Pours a pretty uninteresting pale yellow body with a medium white head. Smell is skunky hops with hints of wet paper. Taste is pretty average lager flavor; some bitter dry hops, very light malt sweetness and a few touches of boiled vegetables. Stella Artois is, as expected, a straight forward lager beer of the mediocre kind.

Random bottle found in fridge. Clear gold pour with thick white head. Musty malt, noble hop aroma. Light crisp malt with just a hint of noble hop bite. Light and clean.

On tap at Yardhouse. Pours a clear golden with a small frothy white head that diminshes quickly to nothing. Corn malt aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a corn malt wih a bitter finish. Not much going on with this one.
