Stella Artois

Pours a clear light golden color with a medium disappearing white head. The aroma is bready with a touch of floral hops. Flavor has a mild sweetness, bread, and a hint of herbal hops. Watery, but a slightly better alternative to the other macro pale lagers.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head and a skunky, malty aroma. The taste is thin and doesn’t hold up for long, it’s a bit malty, a bit hoppy, like your everyday lager. Nothing special or thrilling, not bad either. Just more of the same

On tap. Pours a golden yellow with a small head. Aroma of sweet malt, light fruits. Flavor of wheat, sweet malts, skunk. Not very good, tasted exactly like the Spaten Premium Lager I’d had prior. Wouldn’t get again.

0.33 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Malty aroma with herbal hops and corn. Equally malty and hoppy flavor with some tart fruitiness, honey and dry hoppier finish. Light bodied. There is something in this beer which I don’t like but I cannot put my finger on it.

thin, watery, bitter as in too much sun. (wonder if i got a bad sample, 3 sunburned aftertasting beers in a row from the same fridge in cph.)

Clear golden color. Sweet with a little spicyness. Maybe a bit skunky, but with a green bottle that’s hard to avoid. A very clean finish. Drinkable.

Stella looks like a great beer when poured. The taste is average and comparable to Heineken. There is no real aroma and palate.

Such a light-weight beer. Impressive in its’ restraint. The dry bitter hops last a long time. Starts out sweet and the bitter just keeps building. Very clean refreshing drink. Best before: 11/2008. Wish I had another. From a bottle.
