COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stella Artois is one of the world’s best-selling beers and is enjoyed in more than 80 countries. Its full, characteristic flavour and high quality is assured through a superior brewing process and by using the finest ingredients available.
The UK version is brewed, filtered and kegged at Samlesbury. Batches are sent to Magor for pasteurising before being canned or bottled.

Draught @ Jinty McGuinty’s. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of grassy hops, grain. Flavour is slightly malty. Fairly dry and bitter.

Bottle. Pours golden with white head. Smells like skunk that sprayed my old sheep dog. Taste is crisp, but nothing to write home about. Pass on this if just about anything else is available.

Pours pale golden color with a disappearing white head. aroma is rice and wet dog. flavor is crisp and slightly floral. sour hop finish. not terrible but nothing like the "true" Belgian beers

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2012 Can. Golden pour, medium creamy head which leaves some lacing.Malty with faint sugary hops. Flavour is lightly bitter. Just a bit above standard cheap euro pilsener.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours clear golden with a light, airy white head. Aroma of wheat, sweet corn, yeast, and hops. Thin, lean body with a rather fizzy, carbonated palate. If "perfection has it’s price," as Stella’s advertising department asserts, it is clearly much more expensive than this. For all the hype of this beer in the macro market, it’s still quite an ordinary pale lager.

Can. Clear golden pour, thick foamy head. Soapy, grainy aroma. Grainy bitter flavor and lots of carbonation. Average pilsener.
