kflorence (93), San Diego, California, USA May 28, 2008 Updated: Jul 10, 2008Bottle. Pours a beautiful clear gold color with minimal head and lots of lacing. Like most lagers it smells pretty bad; lots of grains, some yeast, hops and metal. Tastes of grains and yeast with a very slight sweet background. Finishes dry and bittersweet, not a great aftertaste but better than most lagers. Drinkable and widely available, but nothing special here. MrBunn (1519), Western, Pennsylvania, USA May 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours a thin gold with minimal head and a skunky Beck’s type hops. Flavor is heavy on skunky hops presence with a nice grain background. Still, things are a little thin and rather unidirectional. IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA May 27, 2008 330ml bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose is light caramelly grain; clear gold with a medium white head; flavor has graininess, very lught caramel and light yeastiness. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA May 26, 2008 Bottle poured into a tulip like glass. Light color and higher carbonation with a decent head. Light and crisp but it is still light and not a whole lot of flavor. A bit grainy or yeast like in aroma. liinis (695), Helsinki, Finland May 26, 2008 bottle in mbar Helsinki. surprisingly rich and strong flavoured for the style. not at all typical. +++ long and strong aftertaste. something rotten though creeps in the background. TedDedon (1), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA does not count May 25, 2008 Good beer for the most part but an introduction to greater European light beers and that’s merely it. The style and taste is weaker than Paulaner but the packaging and reputation is better. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA May 25, 2008 bottle, golden color, yeasty aroma, mildly hoppy with a decent finish, not too watery espenra (277), Oslo, Norway May 24, 2008 Updated: Oct 10, 200833cl bottle from Systembolaget Charlotteberg.
