Pours clear with lots of carbonation and clear white head.
Taste is metallic, generic lager, nothing great but better than most lagers available in normal UK pubs.
For some reason the Stella on tap in Belgium seems ten times better than the UK version.

May 18, 2008 Pours pale yellow, small head. Average aroma, nothing stands out. Smooth taste, the hops only slightly come through. Straightforward, decent beer, but nothing extraordinary about it. Typical pale lager, I prefer it to Heineken.

May 16, 2008 the best thing about the beer is the aroma strong yeast smell, the aroma that make people say wow i want a beer, maybe not a stella but a beer. it has a pretty yellow color and a nice white head. flavor is sort of bittersweet and little yeasty, but nothing interesting about it. Nice fizzy feeling in mouth but thats all. Overall its what it is another non interesting pale lager that sells well to the hip Manhattanites that shop at whole foods.

May 14, 2008 Pretty much what I expected: Beautiful packaging, high-prestige marketing, boring Euro-lager. Though probably the best pale lager I’ve ever had, if that means anything. Overall another commercial dud.

May 14, 2008 Pours a clear golden colour, small white head. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, creamy and semi-wheaty. Aroma is a bit skunky. Hint of lemon, wheatgrass and hops. Taste is relatively light, and unexciting.

May 12, 2008 12 oz green bottle form local Food Lion.
Pours a clear very light straw almost yellow. Sweet aroma of light european malts with a bit of spicey noble hops. Touch of fruity yeast aroma, but no green bottle syndrome on this one. Slightly sweet light malt flavor with enough spicey hops to balance. Very clean and moderatly dry finish. Light mouthfeel with bit of carbonic bite. Nice clean lager.

May 12, 2008 A refreshing sort of beer that you can drink after a hard days work. Pale in color. Had a somewhat distinct taste to it, which wasn’t bad. Not 100% sure what the taste was because I had a couple of these at christmas time...

May 12, 2008 Bottle and draft. Very herbaceous nose, slightly sweet initial taste, but finishes with a dry, malty finish. Refreshing every-day session lager for people who are not lager fans.
