May 1, 2008 Draft. Light amber with small, bubbly brief head. Aroma of wet fur - not necessarily a bad thing. Tastes of caramel and tar with nice lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel light, thin.

May 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is thin - some malts and hops. Flavour is just like the aroma - thin with some hops and some malty caramell. It don’t taste bad...I mean it do not taste much at all. Just boring!

Apr 30, 2008 First things first: a very nice beer! Very popular here in the Northeast. Available year-round in bottes and on tap. Just a nice, crisp, clean and refreshing beer. Drink very cold, however, can change to almost a Heineken flavor as it sits and warms.

Apr 28, 2008 I don’t get why everyone’s so gung-ho about this beer. It’s everywhere here, and even more-so in Europe. It’s not an American macro, but it’s not a whole lot better either. This one’s watery, light, and unimpressive on all counts.

Apr 25, 2008 Pours like an American lager, with a bright yellow color and a bright white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is light hops with some grains and alcohol. The taste is similar. Mouthfeel is a little harsh, with a bit too much carbonation and alcohol in the aftertaste. Can’t say I’m a fan.

Apr 24, 2008 330ml bottle. Pours a light gold with fluffy white head. Nose is yeasty bread, light hops and a bit of skunk. Palate is mild with malt, mild hop and a bit of grassy spice. Watery thin mouth feel. This beer is better on tap and better than the American light beers, but not that great. Not sure why it’s so popular – I guess because it’s a trendy beer from Belgium that’s widely available. Nothing special.

Apr 24, 2008 ...well, this beer has much hype, but does not live up to it’s name. Been around forever, before even the fake jesus. Heavier than you would expect, but has a clean finish. Not much to set it apart from the rest, other than the consistent quality from the real imported version.

Apr 22, 2008 Pours a pale gold/straw with little head. Doesn’t have much in the way of aroma, but what’s there is nice. I like the flavor. Clean, crisp, and well balanced. Finish is nice as well. Predictable but solid pale lager.
