| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2008 Updated: Jun 9, 2008(Sample from August 25, 2006 Beer Club Meeting; 12oz bottle from World Market on March 17, 2008) This is usually what I get at a bar when the selections are Bud, Stella, Heineken, and some other American lager. I think I just like screaming "STELLA!" at the top of my lungs in public. Yeah, I’m sure bartenders have never heard that one. Pours a very white frothy head. Lots of bubbles. Has a semi-sweet smell to it. Standard pale lager color. Extremely light body with something in the taste that makes the toungue water - at least mine. Has a pretty barnyard kinda fume to it. This is probably one of my favorite lagers suited for mass-consumption, thanks to the fact that it’s available at just about every bar around here. couchand (182), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Yellow with thin head, kind of bubbly. Semi-sweet and kind of watery. Intense bitter aftertaste which lingers on. My first Belgian (sort-of) left a lot to be desired. VitaminR (428), Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Grassy nose. Clear yellow-gold with a decent head. Very herbal and grassy with some spicy hop bitterness. Well carbonated, with a crisp finish, and a bit of lingering hops. Good choice for an easy drinking beer. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a decent white head that fades away. Aroma is of hops and grain. Taste is of hops, a little bitter, kind of sweet and the finish reminds me of cream corn. Not bad as it is fairly smooth, but I didn’t care for the way it finished. Overall, this is a decent beer, but not that great considering the price and the way the commercials portrayed it.
