A very disapointing lager. Heavily marketed in the Uk, but more famous for its ability to induce violent behaviour than its good taste. AVoid.

Pours a lightly golden-clear, decent white head. Aroma was a bit bitter, a little bit sweet, almost lingering on marijuana-type odors. Taste is crisp and much better than it smells, but still nothing too great. Moderately hoppy. It does go down relatively smooth though. If you’re a fan of pale lagers, I’d suggest going for this one. If you’re a fan of beer, I’d suggest staying away.

Oh my God, what a yawn. What a great big long yawn of a beer. I mean seriously. I can hardly be bothered to describe it. There’s just not much to describe.

tap, smelled a bit hoppy but really didn’t taste it at all. kind of a dry beer. good carbonation and great lacing. this is a good middle of the road beer for me. it’s not awesome but it’s not bad either.

12 oz bottle poured into a dimpled mug- poured standard pale golden yellow, no head, extremely light carbonation. Aroma of light malt and even a hop note. Hits the mouth cleanly, thin body, a little malt, minimal hop detection, finish was crisp. I wouldn’t mind having a few of these for a session.

Bottle from a sealed 12 pack so not skunked. Very pale golden beer with thin white head. Has typical Euro lager aroma of Pils malt, maybe some spicy hop notes and a twinge of DMS. Taste is the same. Too carbonated with very thin mouthfeel. Now what the hell am I going to do with the other 11 bottles?

Quaffable and crisp, but not memorable. Decent flavor and aroma - standard for European lagers in the USA. Doesn’t have the skunky flavor of other European beers in green bottles.

12oz bottle, best before June 08. Pours very light, pale, transparent yellow with a surprisingly small white head with poor retention. Bubbles form a circle around the rim and disappear. Aroma is fairly standard pilsner though not especially appealing. Beery, malty. Taste is clean, crisp, no discernable hop or malt characteristics, watery with a non-existant finish. Light body. This is not bad like most other pale lagers but it lacks just about anything you could call good. Mediocre at best.
