If you walk into an English drinking hole that is full of skinheads and does bother more about football than the beer they serve, this is a safe choice!

Oh good grief. I can’t believe I’ve never said anything on this. Okay, well, here goes. Into a pilsener, the appearance was a decent looking hazy but somewhat paled orange to blazed yellow color. There’s a somewhat decent looking half fingered white head that quickly died within a minute. Don’t ask me about the lacing, there wasn’t any - at all. The smell, uh....well, let’s just say that leaves a little bit to be desired but here’s what I tried to pick up - a bland sort of cooked burnt corn to rice. The taste tried to be somewhat sweet but honestly it came across fairly bland. On the palate, well, its a light all around, no matter how one looks at it. Sessionable - well damn sure it is. Overall, would I have this again? For the most part, I do my best to keep away from this beer, but somehow this one just happens to creep up behind me every now and again and ya know, yeah, sigh, okay, well, I give in and drink this just to put me in a place where I don’t have to think about beer at all.

Review: Can of Stella Artois Pilsner Beer 5.2%ABV Stella Artois is a nice clean and easy to drink beer, perfect to bring along for a party since its a beer that everyone can drink and enjoy. The appearance was perfectly clear of a nice yellow colour, with a good sized white head and some decent lacing. It’s certainly looks the part. The aroma was nice and sweet but faint, smelling of a malty and hoppy smell. Stella Artois had a nice crisp and refreshing taste to it which I found very easy to drink, was clean tasting with with no real offensive flavours. It is a very sweet grainy beer yet smooth enough to enjoy. A great session beer with your mates, light and very drinkable, an absolutely beautiful Belgian lager beer.

It has a nice light golden color with very good clarity and a good amount of visible champaign like carbonation. On top it forms a big fluffy head that slowly settles and leaves very little to no lace. The aroma has a delicate floral and grassy nose. It has a delicate flavor as well as its aroma. There is a mild sweetness that is balanced by light floral, almost fruity and mildly bitter hops. This mild flavor can become skunked very easily so look for as fresh a sample as possible. Its body is light and the finish is crisp and dry. The texture is slightly slick and thin with lively carbonation that makes it very easy to drink

Scent of malt, wet grass, and hops. Clear golden colour. Flavour of malt and hops. Drinkable, but not too interesting.

Golden, some foamy head. Grass, butter, bread. Light bitterness, light palate. It’s a pale lager, similar to many others, not the worst, not the best.

Transfer from BA review on 5-5-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a golden color with a huge billowing white head with giant carbonation bubbles entrapped within. The head has a moderate retention but eventually subdues to give a good level of lacing. It is actually a very nice looking golden brew. Smell – There is a bready backbone with a little bit of skunkiness mixed within. Taste – Quite a simple crisp tasting beer overall. The taste of a bit of malty breadiness with some light notes of caramel to sweeten it up. The taste is quite consistent for the most part, but possibly a bit sweeter at the end. Mouthfeel – Medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation. Very easy to drink and good for the style, but somewhat boring. Overall – Pretty one dimensional but very easy to drink.

Flaska på bröllop Djursholms Slott. Drucken ut flaskan. Luktar och smakar bröd. Inte mycket till munkänsla.
