Nothing to absolutely love, nothing to absolutely hate. Yellow, lightbodied, malty with enough hops to make it bitter, but none for aroma or taste.

Clear light golden, good white head and great lacing. Light malt taste with very light bittering. A one-note beer, inoffensive and drinkable, but weak on flavor and fullness.

Enjoyed on tap at the Globe Pub in Chicago, IL while celebrating a friends birthday. Appearance is clear gold with rich white head. Aroma mostly lager yeast, very small amount of malt. Taste is pretty good, very crisp , slightly dry, pretty nice. I enjoy this more and more each time I get it.

Bottle pours clear yellow into a branded glass. Good frothy head that fills the glass. weak head retention. Aroma of hops, malt, mild notes of yeast. Nothing "bad" about this beer. That being said, there is nothing special about it. fairly smooth.

Pours pale yellow with white foamy head. Aroma of grain cider and noble hops. Taste is smooth and crisp with a balanced blend of malt and hops with a dry crisp finish.

From the tap at Bettis’ Grill in Pittsburgh. Note of correction: This beer was listed in the Pilsner category on the menu at Bettis’ Grill. Crisp, clean, no detection of the so-alled skunkiness rumored from other tasters. Lacks any uniqueness of the Belgian family. Probably on par with a Belgian Budweiser or a German St. Pauli Girl.

As I live in the city of origin, I try very hard to judge this beer objectively. Many people in Leuven would gave a bartender funny looks if they didn’t get a Stella server when ordering a beer.
That being said Stella has a different taste all around the world, and I’ve tasted many variations which, surprise!, vary A LOT.
Stella Artois serverd in Belgium tastes better on draft, has an acidic touch and no aftertaste. Also bottled it comes in a brown bottle around here. A green bottle means it’s an exported version and therefore not the original ’formula’.

It may have a bit more taste to it than most lagers, perhaps a somewhat beerfy taste in fact, however the hangover affects are pretty terrible and I suggest avoiding this one.
