Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 16, 2003 A dark yellow beer with a nice white head. The aroma is a strong hoppy one - really nice - it almost fills the room when you pour it and makes you think of a Czech pilsener. The flavor is very sweet (maybe too sweet) with a nice but not that prominent bitterness. A little more balance would help. A good beer for a pilsener. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 6, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden, decent head (for a pilsener). Dry, soft body. Pleasant alright with just the right dose of hops to distinguish it from the more bland macrobrews. An OK pils. 030897 omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 11, 2006 Updated: Mar 21, 2006Bottled. (Brewed by unknown Algerian brewer). Pale yellow, relatively firm head. Heavy on metal and vegetables. Sweet with unclean adjunct flavour. No bitterness. You can’t go much more wrong than this in Algeria, as the local brands are at least decent. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 13, 2007 33 cL can. Pours pale yellow with a huge crispy head. Aroma is slight floral hops with a grass note. Flavour is sweetish going into a mild hops bitter finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Aug 23, 2006 Draught. Colour pale yellow and clear, with good head which fades quickly. Slightly carbonated, chemical aroma. Sweet with a forgettable after taste. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Apr 12, 2005 Bottled. Hazyish yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma of maize with hints of bread. Smooth flavour of bready malt, a bit grassiness and bitterish hoppy finish. Maize and hoppy bitterness in aftertaste. Very wellbalanced, but not that special. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Dec 19, 2004 Can. Very dark colour with a blue head (I must admit the light was a bit dodgy). Boring lager with slightly more body than usual. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 2, 2006 Updated: Dec 12, 2008Draught.
