This beer is so weak. I would take this over the mass marketed Buds, Millers, Coors and Heinekens any day however. The aroma is very very faint but quite nice. It’s pretty average. I would drink this but you don’t get much out of it as far as flavor and body goes. It is quite thirst quenching.

Nice lager if you care for the full bodied bitter type. Sampled at Ferryman’s Pub at the waterfront in a gold rimmed girlie lager glass!!
Nice medium bodied flavour for a draft with a fantastic hoppy taste hitting you half way through a mouthful.
Have had it out the bottle as well, which seems to have a higher ABV 5.6% i think, if it’snt chilled it is quite bitter. but none the less a nice beer to drink on any ordinary occasion

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Considering the quality of Belgian beers in general, with special regard to the monastic brews, Stella Artois is pretty weak; indeed, I have heard that it is regarded as swill in Belgium itself. Regardless, I don’t mind Stella. It was the first ever import "fancy" beer I ever had when I was younger, and stuck with me since. Overall little aroma from this beer. Bottles have a tendency to impart a skunkier flavor that is characteristic of many "green-bottle" beers from Europe. Flavor is a mix of skunk, grain, and apples. Pleasant enough, and not as skunky as such beers as Heineken or Beck’s.

Elegant, fine, a piece of art. Belgians really know how to brew beers. I’ll begin with its aroma: floral, sweet and malty. It also has a good fuzz, good foam, body and a good amber color. Smooth to the taste but at the same time the delicate flavor of its own hop variety. This is truly an elegant beer.

Relatively good mass market lager. Nothing to shout about though. Neither surprised nor disappointed.

I was not impressed at all. The bartender said this beer was French at first but it’s not obviously. It’s seriously missing flavor.

I really don’t understand the fascination with this, especially in the States. Its an alright lager at best, nothing to get excited about.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is a good crisp lager with a nice munich style malt. Although it is a lager there appears to be a nice belgian yeast profile present to compliment the subtle bready malt. Carbonation is perfect and there is a slight earthy hop presence as well. This is a well made beer.

Poured from bottle. Pours pale yellow, white head. Very light. Better than some of the other mass produced stuff
