Stella Artois is one of the worldís best-selling beers and is enjoyed in more than 80 countries. Its full, characteristic flavour and high quality is assured through a superior brewing process and by using the finest ingredients available.
The UK version is brewed, filtered and kegged at Samlesbury. Batches are sent to Magor for pasteurising before being canned or bottled.

Bottle. Golden, clear. Sweet and a little hoppy. Iíve had this in a few different bottles and on tap, and the taste definitely varies, but hell, drink up any way.

This beer is so weak. I would take this over the mass marketed Buds, Millers, Coors and Heinekens any day however. The aroma is very very faint but quite nice. Itís pretty average. I would drink this but you donít get much out of it as far as flavor and body goes. It is quite thirst quenching.

Nice lager if you care for the full bodied bitter type. Sampled at Ferrymanís Pub at the waterfront in a gold rimmed girlie lager glass!! Nice medium bodied flavour for a draft with a fantastic hoppy taste hitting you half way through a mouthful. Have had it out the bottle as well, which seems to have a higher ABV 5.6% i think, if itísnt chilled it is quite bitter. but none the less a nice beer to drink on any ordinary occasion

Yeasty, wheaty aroma. Pours golden, with a frothy white head. Tastes pretty good, definite wheat/yeast taste as well. The body is great, good carbonation, gives me a filled feeling. Very similar to Becks, although this is slightly more yeasty and slightly less clean than becks. Not a bad Lager by any stretch.

Extremely overrated, though nowhere near repulsive. Points deducted because itís a ripoff in Australia, and itís fucking brewed here! sneaky bastards... Quite a bit of flavour for a lager, smells decent, wouldínt go nuts for it. Buy it if itís on special, otherwise spend your $55 on something truly worth it.

Considering the quality of Belgian beers in general, with special regard to the monastic brews, Stella Artois is pretty weak; indeed, I have heard that it is regarded as swill in Belgium itself. Regardless, I donít mind Stella. It was the first ever import "fancy" beer I ever had when I was younger, and stuck with me since. Overall little aroma from this beer. Bottles have a tendency to impart a skunkier flavor that is characteristic of many "green-bottle" beers from Europe. Flavor is a mix of skunk, grain, and apples. Pleasant enough, and not as skunky as such beers as Heineken or Beckís.

Elegant, fine, a piece of art. Belgians really know how to brew beers. Iíll begin with its aroma: floral, sweet and malty. It also has a good fuzz, good foam, body and a good amber color. Smooth to the taste but at the same time the delicate flavor of its own hop variety. This is truly an elegant beer.

I was not impressed at all. The bartender said this beer was French at first but itís not obviously. Itís seriously missing flavor.

I really don’t understand the fascination with this, especially in the States. Its an alright lager at best, nothing to get excited about.
