It is very crisp. This reminds me of Czech lagers like Staropramen and Pilsner Urquell. It's drinkable, but stronger than most American lagers.

A nice whote head on the inviting golden brew. A zippy hoppy aroma that really moves out of the glass. Surprised to discover this kind of round full flavor in a lager, bittering slighly at the end like a quaff o milk though not by flavor, more like a feeling. It doesn't spikebut rounds out, sounds a bit too fancy but I am intrigued.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2003 On tap, terrible. Out of the stubby, terrific. One of many beers where the quality from stubby to tap is poles apart.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2006 Bottle. Light yellow colour with an average size white head. Aroma is of straw and a little bit of flowers/perfume. Flavour is of light bread and grains - light bitterness with very light sweetness. Light body with average carbonation and a light bitter finish. Only slightly better on tap.

On tap. Clear with medium head that fell fast. Light color. Strong aroma of noble hops and a distinct hops bite on the first sip. Refreshing, almost sour from the hops kick. Technical perfection, but no soul.

Bottle. Has a cool name and nice look and label. But unfortunately a bland, watery taste.

One of the best on the market. The aroma is pleasant and comes nowhere close to the skunkiness that might be first expected when considering its competitors. The coloration is a light golden, topped off by an adequate yet unobtrusive head and fine carbonation. Possessing one of the most balanced flavors around, this beer is remarkably consistent in first impression and finish, and is amazinlgy and refreshingly balanced between sweet and bitter, with neither malts nor hops overtaking one another in the overall character of the beer.

Pale yellow color and nice white medium head. Malty aromas without any hoppy ones. A good beer but not as good as it is considered.

Looks like your typical bottom fermented brew, nice clean light golden color with a decent white head. Aroma of flowers and malt. Initial taste was slighty lemony with a strong undetectable flavor that I was unaccustomed too. Not unpleasant, just funky.

It’s nothing really special, but nice for a change every now and then.
