Stella Artois is one of the world’s best-selling beers and is enjoyed in more than 80 countries. Its full, characteristic flavour and high quality is assured through a superior brewing process and by using the finest ingredients available.
The UK version is brewed, filtered and kegged at Samlesbury. Batches are sent to Magor for pasteurising before being canned or bottled.

Tap. I succumb to the hype and tried one during a layover in Chicago. Overall, this beer is decent. A bit of sweetness with a hint of unfiltered yeast. Good for a Pale Lager. Yet, this beer proves to me to be more of a fad or status symbol than truly a good beer. I see and hear many people who graduated from the typical mass produced swill to Stella Artois and think that they have found somethng special. Must be good since it costs more, right? Just another alternative to other country club fare like Heinekin or Corona.

A great session beer, but beyond that nothing else. For a mass produced brew this one impresses. When in a pinch grab some Stellas and you won’t be disappointed. Nice Tasting lager.

I was glad to log in and see many people hating this stuff as much as I do. I found it horrible...skunky, tasteless and bland, Like PBR with a fancier label.

I had to. This shit sells, no joke. It moves enough for me to decide that it needs a five block just so it wouldn’t sellout on a god damn Monday morning in February. The clientele is specific… yuppies and other well to do’s. Carlo Franco seven fold ties, dress shirts by Ike Behar and customized Maybach’s. We would get this trash in by the skid. American Eagle would roll up with a couple of 18 wheelers and I would unload some 500 cases of Stella without thinking twice. This is Stella Artois, the Patrick Bateman crowd. It smells of beer on the nose and resembles dehydrated piss whilst in the glass. No foam…no head. On the sip one imagines skunked PBR. While refreshing it does remind you that you paid some 15 dollars for 12 beers that by the way are only 11 OZ a piece. This is for the Wall Street material, Sacks Fifth Ave junkies and for all the other over paid 20 year olds who had it all served to them on silver trays.

This beer is decent if you are forced to drink an import. Still really bitter as most European beers are but after a couple you’ll start not to notice it so much.

Clear yellow with a nice head when poored from a bottle. Smells sweet with some slight off notes. The flavor is a nice balance between hops and malt. This beer always tastes slightly skunked to me, but I like it anyway.
